📝Ingredients:
- Tangerines - 12 pieces of medium size
- Vodka - 0.5 l
- Sugar - 200 gr
- Water - 100 ml
🌶Cooking:
1) Wash the tangerines, remove the skin.
Cooking 2 bowls. Put the peeled tangerines in one, the zest in the other.
2) In order to avoid bitterness in the tincture, it is necessary to get rid of the albedo (the white layer between the pulp and the zest) and white villi on the peeled tangerines.
We clean the pulp from the villi with our hands, and the zest with a spoon.
3) We send the pulp of half of the tangerines (6 pcs) to a jar, add the whole zest (12 pcs), knead with a crush. Fill with vodka, close the lid, put in a dark place for 7 days at room temperature.
4) Cook tangerine syrup.
The pulp of the remaining tangerines (6 pcs) is sent to a saucepan, add 200 g of sugar and 100 ml of water. Place over low heat, stirring until boiling.
Remove from heat, mash with a crush, strain.
Pour the syrup into a jar, close the lid, put it in the refrigerator for 7 days.
5) After 7 days, filter the tincture.
In a separate jar or decanter, combine the tincture and tangerine syrup, mix.
If desired, you can put it in the refrigerator for a day or immediately start tasting 😋
