Sooo I got out of a relationship about 6 months ago. But before then I had a lapse of judgement on a drunken night out and regretted it, apologised so many times for it. Was honestly heartbroken. For me, what he did that hurt me the most was the fact that he strung me along for over a year, on and off, constantly expecting me to apologise every single day. On an off stage he was telling me all about how he liked a girl from work and how he was making out with her and stuff. That’s when I realised that there’s only so much that I can apologise for, and if he still can’t move on from it while we’re together maybe we should be apart. So it hurt because I was and still am in love, but Im getting better. I’ve learnt a lot from my mistakes and I realised that it came from underlying problems including his lack of trust in me (I gave him no reason not to until that point) and jealousy, even when I just spoke to a boy in class. It sucks, but it’s over now and I’m happier. :)

Me, a boy, watching this to test how well girls think they know boys. So far I can say most of this is true but just know that, yes, we do appreciate girls making the first move, we aren't these super incredibly confident gods on a pedestal, we are human like you and feel very anxious talking to a girl who is attractive or has a great personality as we often feel that we are out of your league. Typically we become softer around girls we like and from personal experience, when first talking to a girl (falling in love) our testosterone levels drop and we become more like the girl, more tender and emotional but after we feel secure in that love with them, our testosterone tends to come back up as we manage being soft around you but also having our guard up for protecting you. So yeah but other than that, if you wanna know why boys are like "gross" or whatever, it's honestly just something you'd understand as a boy, can't really explain to you if you have no foundation to go off of, we just tend to find slightly less kempt things to be funny or natural and it also sorta ties in with our manly instincts and behaviour. Just having high testosterone alone makes you feel more buff, down in the dirt and ruthless ngl 😂

We are dumb, that's why we don't get many hints, but there is more to it. We may ignore them. Nine out of ten guys had once or more thought there was someone flirting with them and then got rejected hard, get called a creep or get laughed at for thinking this. You wouln't want this to ever happen again, so you are very careful. To me a woman basically has to write a four page letter explaining everything because I would always think it is just a joke or prank.
