It doesn't keep the date info attached to the photo. The downloaded photo says the date downloaded. I have over 2T of media. Not looking forward to typing the date on each one and doing it again when I put them back into the app.

Ive exported them off but Google photos wont let me delete them. I select the photo, press delete and nothing happens

Once it’s all downloaded do I need to delete the pictures from Google photos? Beaches I can’t revive emails or anything anymore from my Google account.

I have memories of photos and videos on an old device, so I backed them up using Google Photos, and I made a factory reset for the old device and left it, and I registered my account on the new device and Google Photos, but after I registered my account on the new device, these photos can I see them in the internal storage of my device, or are they in the account In-app only

Excellent tutorial video. 2 questions - Are these methods to move or copy photos to computer?? In other words, will google photos still have photos once you copy them to your computer? 2nd question - Can I have actual photos on download list instead of just numbers ending with .JPEG or whatever other format was used?? It'll be easier to spot photos as you look at lists. Thank you!!!

i have 3+ not in service android phones with lots of pictures but i cannot transfer or copy these pictures to my usb flash drive it says their on google photo and when i tried to copy it says zero pictures available but theirs over 1000 pictures on my old phone...what to do? pls help

What if you download a lot of photos into a zip file, but delete from Google photos when I've downloaded them, if I open the zip file, will I still be able to access those pictures? I just don't want to delete my pics in Google, to then realize my zip file has no pics because it was connected to Google photos.

Thanks my husband was looking for a solution we've lost a lot of baby pictures of our grand kids from external drives.

My exported file from google takeout is 34gb. Which is odd cause I thought I only had 15gb. Idk. The problem I’m having is my computer storage doesn’t have 34gb of space to download. How do I download directly to a hard drive? Is that even possible? I’m not tech savvy. Thanks!

In case you've already run out of prepaid space neither of these methods helps you, correct? Coz if I've got it right they are all based on a copying the files (making a zip) to then allow you to download 'em all at once. And that needs free space... that you don't have...
