Yes!! Thank you!!❤
ОтветитьThat table turned out so much better than I was expecting.
ОтветитьI just stained my crates and legs, so tomorrow I will put everything together. Thank you
I love this video
I love it. I have 4 crates. I cannot wait to do this project. Thank you thank you
Beautiful just Beautiful
OMGosh, so much potential! Awesome woodworking, love your ideas and ingenuity. Thank you for sharing your video.
ОтветитьTo the man who made the coffee table. Beautiful job. And what a soothing voice. You might consider doing some ASMR videos.
ОтветитьI would have a piece of plexy cut to fit the top.
Just saying
Love these tables and crate locker.
Ответить4 minutes could have been edited out of this. Geezzzz... drag it out.
ОтветитьNot sure why the 3rd felt she had to number the crates, but stencils would have worked. And she could have painted over the numbers if she wanted them for another use.
ОтветитьFirst reader has such a great voice. I thought it would have been also good if I wanted to sleep to smo's voice. That voice is a treasure!
ОтветитьLove this! I think I might also try brass hardware and decoupage the doors, then a bit of hand sanding over the decoupage. Then sell it online for a fortune. Lady you are going to town with that drill!
Ответить😁 great voice over 👍
Ответить❤
ОтветитьIve watched a few of this channels videos.... the running theme Im noticing show stupid people are. You just suggested people buy crates for $10.00 that made from throw away scrap wood.. just make your own .. but like o well its only $40 like totally awesome yaya ! dumb poor people.. jess buy it !
ОтветитьI really like your wood crate table... I piece of glass on top would be my choice if I made it. I did not like the crate locker at all... I am sure you could buy something at a consignment shop/thrift store that would cost less and be much nicer.
ОтветитьGlue sticks to stain now ????????
ОтветитьBack in the day when oranges came in crates, my sisters and I would get them for free from the grocer’s trash heap. We made all kinds of useful furnishings from them.
ОтветитьAmazing!!
ОтветитьThe 2nd lady doesn't know half round from quarter round. An it looks very hand made.
ОтветитьHometalk is upping their game. This is a wonderful idea and tutorial. Great job
ОтветитьA hacksaw blade does a great job spreading wood glue. Try it you’ll like it!
ОтветитьStunning
ОтветитьI can never get my wood glue to set up on stain how did you do that?
Ответить"Perfect centre..."
Hurt my soul.
As a carpenter for 25 years I can say those legs won't last long if someone leans on the table or it's moved around.
I'd suggest using timber a bit thicker with a couple of dowels and glue also.
Looks really nice though, simple yet very effective.
This dude using a kindergarten teacher voice lol. I like it though, calm and informative.
ОтветитьI'm going to build the table. I think I'll make a hidden compartment in the center.
ОтветитьOmgoodness...this guy's voice is fantastic!!!!
ОтветитьGlue before you stain or leave those areas unstained
ОтветитьYou could do this for matching table and TV stand. I liked that.
Ответитьlove the coffee table!
ОтветитьThe only bad thing is, the slates are stapled in and they don't hold very good. I removed the slates and glued and braid nailed them
ОтветитьGood job that looks cool 😎😎😎😎😎😎
ОтветитьI love the crate locker.❤
ОтветитьFabulous vid. 👍🏻 The voice soothes my soul.
ОтветитьThat is pretty cool.
ОтветитьGreat Album holding table
ОтветитьI love the saw. I’ve never seen that size or style before.
Ответитьwhat is the finished size?
ОтветитьWhen I was a child in the early fifties I had a dresser made out of a crate standing on end w/ fabric over the opening. Nowadays these "craft" crates are unaffordable. Better to find something in a thrift or garage sale.
Ответитьbeautiful!!
ОтветитьThe first one is a really great idea. I would NOT varnish/stain them before gluing them together. Glue is made to absorb into the wood then dry holding both pieces together. The stain blocks the ability of the glue to absorb in and will not hold very well.
ОтветитьFor what all the materials cost, you could have bought better from IKEA or Hobby Lobby!
ОтветитьLove both ideas! & the tape trick was genius! Thank you!
ОтветитьCute
ОтветитьWasn't that crate table a thing a few years or more ago?
Nevertheless, thanks for the upload!
more than the lovely table you made, I was so happy you were not yelling and hysterical like most of the American diy's I sometimes watch (briefly) lol
ОтветитьI thought the video was from 2013 😂 that is when crates were blowing up on Pinterest 😅
ОтветитьIn the first video. You should not apply wood glue to surfaces that have been stained. First, wood glue is water soluble. Applying an oil stain inhibits the glue's ability to penetrate the wood to bond both surfaces. Ask any woodworker, or do a search on wood glues. I am referring to all Polyvinyl acetate (PVA) glues by wood glue. There are other adhesives that may be ok. In this video, they were using PVA wood glue.
