ОтветитьCheers I'm in Dawson City walking around these places.👍👍👍😊😊😊
ОтветитьHey guys. Greetings from Calgary, Alberta. Love your content! Excellent, excellent excellent. I’ve come back to this series as I’m planning the same road trip heading up from Whitehorse to Tuk. Both of you are always so positive and upbeat. Informative and entertaining videos, and VERY well edited. Keep up the great work.
ОтветитьI like cities located in the northern territories of North America because they are so remote and cold and facinating. Although I haven't been there in winter time, I am still looking forward to move to one of those towns such as Whitehorse or Dawson city. I really enjoyed watching your videoes introducing these areas and please keep on doing it, I will always surpport you guys!
ОтветитьNon drinker here but I would do it. And get the milkshake.
ОтветитьGreat video. That's a nice watch, what type is it?
ОтветитьI’m watching this at 2am after getting back from diamond tooth girdies and had a sour toe cocktail with supper. Been in Dawson for 9 hours now but I love it here, such a small town feel, and I am originally from a town smaller than this
Ответитьthe second guide has such a pleasant accent..! we have a gold dredge outside of town here, except it burned down 😅 people still go visit it though!
ОтветитьWhere do they source a hundred thousand toes? Asking for a friend.
ОтветитьVisited Dawson City today!! Thank you for explaining more about the buildings I saw today!!
ОтветитьFake a american city , not anything real.. no one on the street.. dead!
ОтветитьI have been to Dawson and absolutely loved it!
ОтветитьI really enjoyed this. TY
Ответить675 CAD is quite expensive for a 1.5 hour tour?
ОтветитьMy sister tried the sourtoe cocktail! I wasn't brave enough to do it, lol!
ОтветитьI live here
ОтветитьThose tour guides gave so much great information! I can't believe the tours only cost $6.25 CAD. What a deal!
ОтветитьSuper interesting. Thanks for posting!
ОтветитьGreat videos guys. It's nice to watch your videos and use as a guide for future trips.
ОтветитьGoing back and watching some of your previous videos... Dawson City is so interesting... and, only 3,300 miles away from me in Arizona! Some day... Gold rush days (same here in the Southwest) and booming towns were quite interesting times, and wow, what people did (and still do, I suppose) to chase a dollar. I respect that you don't drink, and won't make any excuse or reason why you should to change your mind. I enjoy a few cold brews while camping or on vacation. Also, while on vacation, I don't mind staying up late to take in the nightlife (I live close to Las Vegas and visit often). You guys hit a goldmine with that pork sandwich and meat/cheese board after taking in all the shows the night before. Keep living well. Pete - KI7LIL
Ответитьyour storytelling, drone footage and editing are superb. Thank you sooo much.
ОтветитьThis was a great video. Brought back memorises for me. I spent 4 days in Dawson back in 2000 and did similar tours. I’m now going to take a look at my photographs. Love your enthusiasm.
ОтветитьHappy to see you had a great time in Dawson!
Ответитьoldest casino, established in 1971?
ОтветитьI did the Sourtoe Cocktail when I lived in Yukon. It is very salty. And not pretty. Glad I did it.
ОтветитьLoved this one! It was so nice getting to see a town I probably will not get to see in person. Thanks as always for sharing your travels with us.
ОтветитьWhat a cool tour! I can't imagine paying for things with a bag of powdered gold. I don't mind the history dump at all.
ОтветитьAwesome video.... Never apologize for history overload. We love it! I'm with you on the toe, don't want anyone's toe touching my lips. Lol... safe travels. And thank you for sharing!
ОтветитьI spent a summer as a tour guide on that dredge. My last tour was as much fun as the first one! It is an amazing site, and the backstory is interesting as well.
ОтветитьFascinating town!
ОтветитьSo much good information given by Elaine and Denny…fun to listen and learn! You can drink it fast, you can drink it slow, but your lips must touch the gnarly toe! 🤢🤮 The milkshake was a much yummier option! 😂 so much beauty in Dawson City! Also can’t forget about the cool dance moves! Keep 💃🏾! Travel safe!
ОтветитьI'm definitely gonna join the toe club if I ever visit
ОтветитьEnjoyed your video I am a history buff I haven't got to watch all your videos Alaska yet this is Wayne sigmon from North Carolina again thanks
ОтветитьHey A&K....we LOVE the Yukon from your videos. Good job as always.
But .... we had to laugh. We are two separate generations for sure. No big deal just funny.
No alcohol? No nightlife? No gambling?
Just funny to note the differences. Yes, we are your parent or grandparent's age.
Keep up the good work.

This was a Kona free episode, and I am NOT amused! ❤️
ОтветитьI enjoyed all the history, thanks! And while I drink I’d be a big no on the sourtoe cocktail! 🤐
ОтветитьAt one time I loved your channel and watched every video. But when I made a comment about you wearing mask when I thought you didn't need to you became very rude and devenice. So I quit yoir channel
But after seeing the north Carolina video o thought I would give you another try. Please if I disagree with something you posted I will be polite and I expect the same from you.
Loved the tours. You can learn a lot from them. What I can't believe is that you're in your early 30s and staying for all 3 shows was way past your bed time! Oh, Come, On!! (grin) Can't wait to see the next video, and I have a good idea where you are headed. Until next time... Travel safe.
ОтветитьI passed through Dawson City on a solo Illinois to Alaska motorcycle trip. I believe I had dinner at a restaurant that was in the same building as the “toe”. The owner of the place (who also road motorcycles) came over and asked if it was my bike sitting outside. He then asked if he could join me and talk to me about my trip. I enjoyed his company and conversation especially since I was traveling solo. He actually took care of my dinner check, how cool is that? Later took the ferry across the Yukon River and stayed at a Hostel on the other side. Anyhow, thanks for bringing back some memories!
ОтветитьWELCOME BACK.
Not to be political but the original Trump Hotel was on the banks of the Yukon River in Whitehorse in 1899. Grampa Trump left the Yukon with $100000, the start of the family fortune.
Another great video. Thank you.
ОтветитьMy guess is you guys went up to Tuktoyaktuk or at least tried too. Look forward to seeing how your adventure compares to mine.
ОтветитьSuch a fab video guys. I really loved your guide at the start, the topics she covered on her tour were very up my street. It was fascinating to hear how long it would take travellers to reach Dawson City, I never would have guessed they'd be stuck in winter, or why. Crazy that they did 'the worlds most boring conga line' that many times (I loved her analogy of this ❤) The saloon was super interesting, including how the bar men would get their tips. Then best not to get me started the post. We're just so used to the internet now, but the idea of having to stick a letter to a tree 🤯 Mind blown! Can't get over how cheap those tours were either. Very excited to hear you'll be heading North - you got me on that one as it wasn't expected. After a quick look on a map, my money is going on Tuktoyatuk. I remember a very long time ago looking at a tour in Alaska where taking a flight out to Tuktoyatuk was an optional extra activity so it says to me there must be something of interest...
ОтветитьBeautiful Dawson City! A place to definitely visit and explore. I think I'll pass on the Toe and whiskey though 😳and people actually do the drink!! I would pick a milkshake over a black qnarly toe any day! Great video and of course, love the dancing at the end! If me and my hubby did dancing like that and videoed it for the world to see, our kids would disown us!🤠 Keep up the great work and take care! Stay safe!
ОтветитьThe toe thing.......oh eww!! I'll take the milkshake like you guys did.
