Would you ever work at Facebook or Netflix more your thing?
ОтветитьHoly moly, whew. Damn I been wasting my time with hardware stuff. Need to learn to code. I would love to work for them. Heck even if I have to start at the lowest level. Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьJust want to know what does the soft engineers do
Are they backned, front end, machine learning or data scientist
Or they can be any of them
hello can a kenyan software engineer work at facebook?
ОтветитьGood day sir, please what tech skill do you need to work with Facebook as an undergraduate software engineer?,
And how can get a job with Facebook or other tech giant
Do you guys pay taxes for these stock in usa?
Ответитьand these guys are complaining about returning to work at the office.
ОтветитьThumbnail though 😂
ОтветитьI appreciate the fact that you dive straight into bread and butter of the video, a lot of videos like to drag on and on about irrelevant stuff.
ОтветитьSo you don't live and work in the Metaverse? 🤔
Amazing video!
FB value in the world is quite low for those type of numbers smh
ОтветитьAre these numbers the same for Facebook in eu?
ОтветитьYou just got yourself a new subscriber. Nice content man.
ОтветитьHow to explain FB / Meta engineers are among top income earners in America yet the product, FB, is not that great? Legal structures, regulatory structures, political structures, etc sub-optimal?
ОтветитьThumbnail is 👌👌
Ответитьpls make video on Rolbox salary.
ОтветитьFinally! Someone that gets right into the point! +1 Like +1 Comment
ОтветитьCrazy benefits!
ОтветитьThe amount of salary is just insane
ОтветитьAfter watching the benefits section a month ago, I was amazed and I decided to try out for Meta SWE. I come back to this video a month later and I got the offer and will be starting soon. Although I believe the fitness/wellness stipend is $3k a year now
Ответить2.99M?!! i regret not studying hard on highschool 😭
ОтветитьToo bad. Watching this and not yet back into the office.
ОтветитьHello Could you or someone help me retrieve my FB account they did something where they only send the code to my email and not number . I need it to go to my #.
ОтветитьTo be fair 261K may be top 2% in the USA, but it is far from the top 2% in Menlo Park. Basically at that salary you may still need a roommate depending on where you choose to live in SV.
ОтветитьWhat is a stock grant? I don’t understand what it is.
Ответитьdoesn't that depend on location tho
ОтветитьHoly crap, I'm baffled at the fact that you don't yet have at least 100k or 200k subscribers; with the level of quality in your videos and the amount of research I can tell you put into them, you'll definitely be getting there soon
ОтветитьWow, the left are raking it in. Shame it can't be said of an essential job.
Ответитьhola si, me gustaria postularme, gracias
ОтветитьDo you know if this level of comp carries across other positions ? E.g product managers
ОтветитьGreat video but you forgot a few things such as a signing bonus, a bonus for moving closer to the Menlo Park campus, a free ice cream shop (Menlo Park), a bicycle shop (Menlo Park), plenty of different kind of cafeterias (Menlo Park), free food for employees and guest for breakfast, lunch & dinner, business class travel tickets when flights are over 6 hours, and way more...
ОтветитьI think you should also make a video about the tax burden, top ca tax bracket is 53%, sometimes for the stock grants even not liquid yet. Together with crazy real estate price and high col they definitely give your viewers a better overall perspective on the crazy salary Bay Area sde is making
ОтветитьFacebook looks so great to work for, aside from the fact that you're working on an evil product that harms humanity
ОтветитьIf you don't want the srock, can you trade it in for increased base salary?
ОтветитьNow I know why Software Engineers talk about money and retirement like no one else lol
ОтветитьNo wonder the cost of living of these companies in the areas is sky rockted
Ответитьis there is tax on stocks and bonus ? if there how much it will
ОтветитьCan you please do a video on TPM salaries as well ?
ОтветитьWhat about taxes? Are these final income or before taxes?
ОтветитьI can’t wait to quit my job and work at Facebook. Construction digger to an IT
ОтветитьHow does he not have more followers ???
Ответить💯
ОтветитьWhy not get into that company bro
ОтветитьHave you tried to get into faang companies?
ОтветитьPretty good content. Deserve more subscribers!
ОтветитьNote: all of these figures are pre-tax.
ОтветитьI don’t even use Facebook but those numbers are WILD, I’m speechless
ОтветитьHello Cody,
Thank you for the videos and explanations.
I really like the way you approach this subject. I was wondering if you can explain or reveal about how stuff works after the first contact is ended. What I mean is, the videos you made on salaries in some big companies are for new comers, people who did not work before for that particular company, for example Facebook. What I am interested to know, what happens after the 4 year plan? Let's say that I started working for one of these companies and my initial contract is for 4 years and the compensation in total is X, is there a raise in compensation or is there a new contract ? What happens on the 4th year and one day mark ? Any thing you can say may help me and others of course.
Thanks ahead.
I just switched jobs from a very well known company to one not very well known, but with a huge pay bump. Ironically, Facebook was one of the companies that contacted me and they've contacted me numerous times over the last five years and I never took them seriously. Hmmmm...with these benefits and pay (which is higher than what I got), I might have to consider them in a year or so!
ОтветитьI like your video so much. It’s very well explained
