My super powers are marketing, graphic & web design.

I had two printshop owners offer to sell me their business because they liked my work and I brought them business, and I turned them down because I thought there was no way I could afford it.

I would have definitely improved on them because they were older and didn’t know all the ways their business could be incorporated into a larger marketing business.

I didn’t even think of owner financing.

First of all, thumbnail, and title super catchy so good job at that. Second of all, i thought ull be all cocky like other creators who talk about finance, but you sound educated! My question to you, if i major in business, perhaps anything that can get me involved in a job, will the skillsets from that job pay off? Perhaps, ill be surrounded by like-minded people, maybe that will elevate me!? They all say college is useless, but i believe im able to get multiple streams of income, that will eventually lead me to starting my first business...sounds good? The reason i say college is because how can i get a job if i dont have a portfolio!!? Isnt thats what degrees are for?

I’ve only seen 3 videos, but I love your advice. I realized I implemented a few of the things you describe. My issue is I listen to the wrong people who don’t know what my journey is and so those people - being on a different journey - feel that my journey wasn’t as important. I had to get rid of those people and continue on my journey. I’m so glad I found you. And you help fill in those cracks I don’t know how to fill. 🙏🏼✌🏼😇

Thank you for this video. I needed to hear this refreshing perspective on the value of doing work for other people. We get so many stories on needing to jump in blind and get rich by being an entrepreneur, that it started to affect me as well. Not having any business idea, but at the same time hearing all the time that you need to start one, causes me great anxiety often. This video has somewhat aleviated these concerns, and made me realise that I'm in no rush. No need to compare myself with others, and better focus on improving myself and my skillset. And I definitely need to step out of my comfort zone to build social capital as an introvert.

Finished college two years ago. And I’m going to do a full ride Masters Degree while’s I’m being paid. Imma make sure I learn all that I can from this.

Saw the video and reading the comments i remembered i have a list with more than 30 ideas for business that i know i can do. Just now i added 2 more ideas that could work. I just hope that my dreams dont die and in the future i will see my list again and have the money and resources to start something, maybe buy a working business that i could use.

This I have a major critique about the argument of “eating, frogs” and “ Eating your bosses frogs”. To me that sounds like a sure path to corporate exploitation of your labor. I’m supposed to eat my bosses, frogs on a pinky promise that I’ll get promoted? Nonsense. Reality check- when employees eat their bosses, frogs for free that just becomes the new baseline expectation. Show up to work giving 150%? Congratulations! 150% just became the new 100%. The corporate bosses are not gonna think “Wow we need to reward this go-getter.” They are going to think “wow this employee is doing all this extra work for free? What a sucker! What a great deal for me!”

When you get a new job act as a spy. Take all the information that you need from the company to better yourself and better your craft. Build strategic relationships with the right people if you can use them to your advantage in the future. But remember to always put yourself and your needs first. Don’t degrade yourself by giving your employer free labor without getting anything in return.

If you don't get out of the waged/paid per hour trap and into self employment, sooner or later the taxman will take a large slice of your income, especially in the UK, but fact is there is no substitute for hard work.

I am not saying this guy is wrong, but doing things this way is relying on other people for your success. Not all of us can do things this way. I have have 35 years in the workforce, and a good work history, but never been promoted on the job. I have tried, but always get overlooked. He then mentions getting a loan. That again relies on somebody else making a decision for us. At 52 years old, I have yet to even get my first mortgage. I am single, and always have been. I am often told that I am extremly smart, and am a good writer, but I lack social skills. I have mild autism. I cant even get an audition to get a chance to play the drums. I can play well if someone took a look at me playing. Thats beside the point, but my superpower will have to be starting something up by myself. Till this day in my life, nobody has giving me that break to open doors in my life. I have to figure out a way to start a business soon. Time is running out, and I don't want to be working for low wages until I die. If I have to rely on somebody else, I am afraid that opportunity will never come.

Sometimes if you buy a business you are just buying someone elses mistakes and problems. Its not always a sure shot to success.

The only way to be rich is to offer physical needs that everyone uses every day.

Opening a business is not what you do when you want to get rich. Its what you do after you get rich. Before that, you probably can't afford it, no matter what you think.

My superpower is teaching math for 5th, 6th and 7th grade.

Thank you for your video, I don't think I will get (yet) to the part of buying a business but the part of knowing your superpower, it's interesting and worth trying.

Most of the time people don't know what they are good at and you are right, passion is fueled by results.

Well im really good at analyzing stats and protocol in every aspect of a business or situation of life, when I work, I often see thing that need to be change and could bring a lot of money because the solution would save a lot of time/effort etc etc.. My father is an Industrial Engineer and did pretty much that for a dozen of years, he was engaged by company and bring 8-12% more money at the end of his contract (about half a year in general) and I realize that I was really good at that too and really love doing it!! only problem is, I don't see where I could find a company that could bring me knowledge of that skill.. well every company can bring me that skill the only problem is a entrepreneur that is willing to not firing me because i open my mouth on something that i shouldn't, or i could grind the echelon of the Job and being promoted and after start doing greater change!! I will definitely try that. Its been since 2016 i work as a cook, I'm studying for being a fire fighter in 5 years i will end up being one if everything go well!! might be able to up that skill in the 5 years!! How exactly do you get an entry level job at a marketing company, when you don't have a degree they automatically Your Resume if you don't have a degree and don't have like a million years experience?

Now it's very hard and too expensive to start a business b/c of the limited scope and woeful deficiencies of conventional economics and also as a result of corporate hegemony and the pernicious impact thereof/ Taxes are parasitic extortion/ Politicians want other people's money and stealing people's mental and physical energies is legal/ We don't have the same professional standards in economics that we have in automotive engineering and design/ The economy is not Capitalist/ The economy is a rotting corpse, malignant cancerous tumour/
