Dry dry dry.....hot hot hot zone 9 florida
Ответить''Great 👍👍
ОтветитьSaving water? Not in England. It hasn't stopped raining. Mind I got several buckets in strategic positions to catch every single drop that doesn't immediately end up in the rain water storage butts. Just in case we get a draught. Which is highly unlikely. Britain has gone straight from winter into Fall. 😢
Also, with all that mulch covering the soil How can I tell/know if the soil underneath is not bone dry?
Zone 9. Very humid and hot 🥵
ОтветитьWould straw work in place of mulch? Its all i have now in over 100 degree temps

ОтветитьCool! I think I forgot the mulch. Great video.
ОтветитьI also use a soaker hose under the mulch. It seems to cut the watering schedule down to every 1 1&2 days quite well. greetings from Saanich.
ОтветитьJeff do you use straw/hay on top for mulching?
ОтветитьThis has been the wettest season I've experienced in a decade. I have mushrooms showing up in all the raised beds and any shaded areas on the ground. 🍄 Great video, balancing moisture is essential!
ОтветитьThis dude should illustrate and write gardening books for kids. His style is perfect for it.
ОтветитьWhat effects have you seen on grow bags with this summers intense heat? Any tips are appreciated 😊
ОтветитьI wish you would do videos on how to grow those cold weather crops like lettuce in the middle of the hot summer without them bolting. Cilantro too
ОтветитьWon’t straw bring more weeds? What’s a good mulch to use besides straw?
ОтветитьThanks Jeff really good episode 205! Hot and humid today, this evening cool abit. Heading for the tomatoes and some compost mulch!
ОтветитьGlad to see the Cherokee purple as an example: a great tomato!
