Ive seen her perform live. I think yalls criticism is insane. She didnt suck. Just seemed like nerves and she was singing lower then usual. Shes a good singer. Just was off a bit. If you dont like her then keep it moving. Its that simple

I am so sorry to say this, but this does not represent Country Music. I know it has changed. I have listened to Country Music for the last 50 years but this is ridiculous. So many would-be stars sing rap, rock, etc.. They can't make it in their own genre so they slide over to country. Example, Megan dressed like a barblie doll skipping like a 2 year old, posing, and ends up winning new artist. She doesn't even have an exceptional voice. Artists like this ruin it for the genuine ones like, Ashley McBride, Carley Piece, Lanie Wilson, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, etc. The new male artists are not much better. Thank god we still have Chris Stapleton, Luke Bryon, Blake Shelton, George Strait, Brooks and Dunn, Little Big Town, Lady A, and a few others. I am sorry to be so negative but Country Music was always songs to relate to. No More. Change the name to New Country . Thanks for listening.

I read (in the comments sections) that she was sick. (?) I guess that would explain it, because THIS... was not a good performance. She looked great tho...especially for a sick person.

My fiancé told me to put the CMA’s on to watch this girl singing. My jaw dropped to the floor and I said “oh my god” as she sang “oh my god”. Never heard of megan before or heard the song, but I immediately fell in love with her looks, especially that silver tutu flared dress and the song. I was pleased that she was actually singing and it wasn’t to a backing track. Later I heard of complaints about her not singing so great. I went online and ordered her new cd. I’ve since rewatched this over and over and I thoroughly enjoyed this performance! She looks like a Barbie doll, and that is a good thing! She also looks like Kendra Wilkinson from the playboy mansion.
