I don't support ukranian government because it is a non wise. Russian culture is tied to Ukraine, it can't be eradicated, removing statues is nonsense, plus statues were of cultural people, like Lev Tolstoy, who was a pacisfist. Why would a smaller and undeveloped military want to go and fight a larger undeveloped military might. Also just remember Russia invaded another country. Crossed the boarder into another country. Annexed parts of that country into their own nation. I mean they would be resentment by many in the international community. The fact that mass murder and complete destruction of villages, towns and cities are being done by the same country (Russia) who feel victimized by everyone lashing out against them. Putin is literally a bully who cannot take the poison he has fed so many people not just in Ukraine by in Syria and Iran. The fact that thousands of Russians who went to fight in the war (many were forced) and end up dying. He is used their deaths to create a false narrative of how it is the Wests' fault. Again he is the one who started this war and invade another country with the intent of colonizing it. Literally after nations all around the world were now beginning to revive their economies from Covid-19. Putin does not care about human rights, democracy, peace or even justice. Period. He does not care. All he cares about evidently is power and greed, I mean he has gotten rid of opponents either thrown them in jail or had them killed (directs and indirectly). The cancelation of Russian culture in the world is because the fact many do not want to associate themselves with a regime who rightfully engages in cultural conservation, which Russian culture is very beautiful and unique, yet at the same time the same regime is guilty of so many crimes against humanity. So it is really to protest against the current regime. A regime that has been in power since 1999. Again democracy is something Putin is against. He is against international law unless it benefits him, rule of law unless it benefits him. Whoever believes others clearly are blinded by ideology (Russian Federation is NOT the Soviet Union) weirdly or by the belief that they are somewhat democratic or a better place as they respect freedom. No they do not, if you are a progressive democrat or even a socialist you speaking your mind would end you in jail. I mean protest are to be key elements of a civil society. Yet Putin has arrested and locked up all who oppose him. Even pensioners are not free from that. Plus the torture and atrocities that for sure happen in prison to political prisoners is another part of the evidence that Putin's regime is not democratic or has any amount of respect for human rights.

I am surprised that there are any performers left... they have either been sent to the Ukrainian front (and died) or have smartly left the Russian federation. I struggle to understand the mindset of any Russian who supports Putin and this unjust and criminal war.
