How I Would Reboot the DCEU: MCU Style DC Cinematic Universe! Justice League VS Legion of Doom

in Challenge of the Superfriends cartoon, Lex formed the Legion of Doom to both intercept the heroes and to kill Superman, and reversely Superman formed the Superfriends because he found out about the conspiracy by Lex to kill him with Kryptonite and he asked for help from the other heroes to save his life, by forming a League

Deathstroke has never been a real Batman villain, more a Titans or Dick Grayson/Nightwing villain. So stop with this Batman vs Deathstroke thing. It has never been a real thing in the comics. Stop, stop, stop! There are plenty of stories that can be brought into the big screen and there is not even one that is based on Batman vs Deathstroke!

WB is a joke when it comes to DC, any, he’ll every movie that was the slightest success was a fluke. They had a huge change to build a DC movie universe and they blew it. If they wanted to have any form of success with their movies the would let DC make movies without any interference. The best chance they had was with Zac Snyder. They called it the Snyderverse, but it was really Jack Kirby’s Forth World. James Gunn is bats**t crazy if he thinks he can create a better movie universe than Jack Kirby did with his huge Forth World universe.

I actually think they should of gone the opposite of marvel ,no universe,make individual movies a movie multiverse, then have flash do a flashpoint movie and jump between universes

what i would do is work side by side with disney+ and make phase 1 which is: the batman movie, superman movie, wonder woman movie, the flash movie and the first justice league movie and then what i would do is make joker, harley quinn and bane the villlains for the batman movie, id make general dru-zod the villain of the superman movie, id make ares the villain for the wonder woman movie, idk what villain id use for the flash movie yet, but in the justice league movie i think its more suitable to have a villain whos weaker than darkseid because what marvel did was introduce a massive vaillain later on in the 3rd and 4th avengers movies aka thanos so id use a weaker one earlier on preferably something like lex luthor or steppenwolf or maye even possibly doomsday, id also put credit scenes in the solo movies which show how the justice league is forming together, and i dont think its necessary to have a green lantern corps movie after all it would be pretty boring just like the latest batman movie with pattinson in it, id also plan out and discuss with disney + and my fellow collegues on how the timeline and the plots should be created/formed/made to make the whole dceu universe's timeline and story absolutely incredible just like what marvel did with their timeline and story/stories

The way I would do it-

Phase 1:

Superman: The Last Son
-No backstory
Clark has been Superman for about a 1-1/2 but doesn’t officially has his name yet
-Lois gets a cameo but isn’t a huge part because they aren’t a thing yet
-The plot is centered around him trying to balance being a superhero and being Clark Kent(in all aspects)
-Metallo and Zod will be the big bass, Metallo being the main bad guy
-Zod invades earth and this enrages Lex Luthor who watches from a disclosed location.
-Metallo is created to destroy Kal and Zod by Lex behind the scenes
-Superman is in a heat beam struggle with Zod after a battle that’s doesn’t you know, DESTROY THE WHOLE DAMN CITY
-Kal is about to break his own mortality to kill Zod when Metallo shows up and uses his own heat beam to melt Zod to mush
-Kal gets his ass kicked to near death but is saved when Metallo malfunctions after being hacked and flys away
-Kal wakes up and turns to see someone in a very expensive suit
-Bruce Wayne explains to him how to balance both his worlds
-Sadly we don’t see Batman in this but he’s not really needed. YET
-In this, They have been friends now for about 6 months as it’s want hard for them to discover each other’s identities
-Bruce even gives him his name but we don’t hear him say it
-He flys off back to metropolis to lure out Metallo. Lex sends him back out
-He struggles with Metallo until he hears Bruce speech( which I haven’t really thought out yet)
-Damaged and bloodied he manages to punch into Metallica chest and crush the kryptonite. -He passes out seemingly dead until the sun shines on him just a tad bit and his fingers starts to move. He soon rises and flys up to space and blitzes towards the sun and the credits roll
-Post credit scene: Lex is flustered that his creation failed but he’s calm and seems genuinely confident as he says it’s time to ready project Doomsday and when see him looking a screen of a Doomsday wrapped up and in a chamber surrounded by kryptonite.

I think the Legion of Doom would fit best in a JL2. I think the best first adversary for the league would be an alien invasion. It could be Starro, Brainiac, Mongul, the Thanagarians if Hawkgirl was to be a core member. Darkseid would be subtly hinted at for the future.

If Batman is young they can't do the "Bat Family". They're doing younger versions of these characters to build them up.

Just wanted to get my own ideas out there too so here we go (gonna really summaries these though):

1) Superman: Man Of Tomorrow
This would be an adaptation of "What's So Funny About Truth, Justice & the American Way?" with the Elite although I am adding Parasite as a sympathetic villain, who Superman is trying to help save. Sadly he would die in the end.
I also want to say that Superman knows Batman already at this point and at the end, there’s a fun little charity event where Bruce Wayne and Superman share a meal at Bibbo’s new and improved diner.

2) Green Lantern
Starting out with Hal Jordan becoming Green Lantern while having to fight the Manhunters. Heavily follows Geoff John’s run.

3) Batman
Don’t actually know exactly what I want this movie to be (for villains I’ve got people like Hugo Strange, Bane or Mad Hatter) but this movie will feature a 16 or 17ish year old Grayson as Robin while also setting up Jason Todd as a character who Bruce meets in this film.

4) The Flash
We get an origin for Barry as he has to fight the Rogues (Captain Cold, Mirror Master, Golden Glider, Weather Wizard and Heatwave). Final battle is in the Flash museum and they all get arrested except Mirror Master.

5) Wonder Woman
Set in World War Two, Diana teams up with the Justice Society when Vandal Savage gets his hands on the Spear of Destiny. Veronica Cale is also in this.

6) Aquaman
I was gonna write it all out but please check out MrRadtastic’s pitch (and his other ones) as it’s the main inspiration for my first Aquaman movie.

HBO MAX’s The Lantern Corps
A show which debuts John Stewart and Guy Gardner as Green Lanterns as they have to deal with a group of rebels lead by Iroque who are protesting against the Guardians. At first they are peaceful until they are taken over by Arkillo, who has a more radical approach. (Iroque also becomes an Indigo Lantern). Will feature a lot of other characters as well.

7) Superman: Brainiac
Adaptation of Geoff John’s story of the same name and Tom King’s Up in the Sky. Supergirl and Krypto are introduced and they have to explore space to find Lan-Shin (introduced in previous film with small role), who was kidnapped by Brainiac. We also meet characters like Lobo, a few Lanterns. Final part is Superman coming back to Earth only to find out that he was too late to save his father from a heart attack.

8) Nightwing
Grayson moves to Bluddhaven and takes down Blockbuster, becoming Nightwing. We also see Jason as Robin

9) Justice League
Vandal Savage returns with his Secret Society of Supervillains (Gentleman Ghost, Cheetah, Mirror Master, Oceanmaster and Professor Ivo and his AMAZO Android) who have Martian Manhunter hostage. The Justice League contains Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, The Flash, Martian Manhunter and John Stewart Green Lantern.

Well it's safe to say that this video definitely aged well.

I just think that Grant Gustin should be the Flash . He is already such a good actor and would just need a better script and costume

I love and agree with these ideas I just think the best option is to add matt reeves batman, metropolis is already mention in that universe so..

The Batman with Pattinson should be part of the DCU.

Who's Wonder Woman in the thumbnail?

Huge L. I only agree with Superman: Man of Tomorrow, and David Corenswet would be a great choice for Superman. The Batman should be the first movie going into this new universe. Robert Pattinsons Batman is in his first years which is perfect for a new start for a younger original Justice League. I know that James Gunn said that his universe will not include the Batman, but, I truly believe that is just a terrible decision. It is a terrible decision because the movie was a huge success and it really showed a deeper understanding of the Batman. If they created a new Batman for the new universe they would have trouble managing both of them. And just like Batfleck we would most likely never get a solo project. Though, I will admit I understand that some people may be sceptical about Battinson having a justice league and Superman in his universe because it is very realistic and modern. But, at the end of the day Batman was created to always have other dc characters in his universe. I would 100% say Battinson needs work and improvement before he meets up with the Justice League. That’s why I’d say that we would need The Batman 2 after the Superman movie. I think Mr. Freeze and the court of owls would be a great mystery movie once again. Mr. Freeze could be killing court of owls members because they killed his wife. Then, when Batman figures out that Mr. Freeze has a vendetta against the Court their interest a-line and they can both take them down. Ending with Mr. Freeze dying at the end and the Joker escaping Arkham. Also, they can show Batman reacting to Superman on live TV. After those 3 movies I would like to see a Green Lantern movie. Obviously, it would be Hal Jordan because James Gunn added him on the new DC logo. I don’t exactly know what I would expect in this movie though. Unlike the failed Ryan Reynolds Green Lantern movie, I think instead of Hal and Sinestro disliking each other off the bat, they should become very good friends and have a strong bond like brotherhood. They could both be travelling around the galaxy together looking for either Atrocitus, Nekron, or Parallax. Which ever villain James would like to use I would be fine with but they need to have a moral backstory. Later in the end of the movie they would argue about how the guardians are selfish and do not want to go through extreme measures to provide protection to the galaxy. It would be very similar to Dr Strange and Mordu in the MCU. Then, obviously in the ending Sinestro would join the yellow lantern core setting him up to be the villain in the next movie. Or instead of all that, another option can be that Sinestro is already bad when Hal first joins the Green Lantern core and nobody has the courage to face him and the yellow lantern core except Hal. Eventually Hal would defeat him and then in the second movie the villain would definitely be Atrocitus. James Marsden or Zac Efron would be a great choice to play Hal Jordan too. After the Green Lantern movie the final project before the justice league would be Wonder Woman: World War 2. This movie would be centered around the early Justice Society of America. The characters would consist of Wonder Woman, Hourman, Jay Garrick, and Hawkman. Also, Wildcat, Dr. Fate, and Black Canary would all make a cameo in the movie. Per Degaton would be a great villain leading the Nazis, and as side villains they can include Vandal Savage and the Shade possibly. Steve Trevor could be a General or pilot in the movie but he would have to have a way shorter role than what he did in the Dceu Wonder Woman. Later in the movie they would achieve the mission of ending the war and killing Per Degaton. But, Hawkman would die and get reincarnated, Hourman would have a sad death, and Jay Garrick would get stuck in the shadow realm for decades. Then, Diana would be the only survivor and leave the JSA, leaving Wildcat as the leader. Jamie Alexander or Alexandra Daddario would be a good choice to play Wonder Woman. Also, he may be to old but after his amazing performance as Rocky Balboa I think Sylvester Stallone is the right choice for Wildcat. I do not think Martian Manhunter and the Flash need a movie going into the Justice League. And Aquaman should be introduced in at least phase 3 or 4. He’s like the Black Panther of the DCU. So, finally they can make a Justice League movie with a large enough threat that they all find each other. The Characters would be Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Flash, and Martian Manhunter. The global disaster would have to originate from Gotham because that would be the only way for Batman to get involved. Then, Green Lantern should go to Gotham to help Batman and there should be another disaster in Metropolis which the Flash goes to help Superman. Lucas Till would be the best comic accurate Barry Allen too. While they are helping people with the disasters, Martian Manhunter should be using his telekinesis to figure out what is causing them. Until, he tracks it down to a country in Europe where he travels alone. Then, he finds a weapon causing all the global disasters and it can be from either the Anti-Monitor or Brainiac. James Gunn did say that he wanted to do elseworlds and use the Anti-Monitor. So, once he approaches the weapon he gets attacked and it becomes alarming to the people in Paris. And one of those people is Diana Prince decades later from WW2. She is with her friends living her new life after the JSA but she can’t just stand there and watch. She fearlessly jumps down and saves Martian Manhunter. They take the weapon to Superman in Metropolis and then they all head to Gotham and find Green Lantern and Batman. Finally the Justice League is united for the first time. Batman is very cautious and paranoid about all of them because he does not trust them. Nobody knows what the weapon is so they bring it to Star Labs and give it to Silas Stone. He obviously figures out that it’s trying to destroy the world some way and that the villain would need countless more around the World. Batman is intrigued about what is going on and he wants to solve it. So, he walks away until Superman stops him and they start to argue and get a little physical. Clark says that they need him because he’s the smartest person there. Batman stays and they all figure out how to stop World domination together. And some huge fight happens and the JL wins. Then, at the end they finally become a team but Batman still does not trust Superman. He starts to look into Supermans enemy Lex Luther and sees if he can find a weakness for Superman. When the Justice League finishes that’s when the Flash gets a movie and it should be Flashpoint. At the beginning it should give a brief origin story about his mom’s death. He should start to have nightmares about the red blur in his sleep. The movie introduces his dad and Iris West. Then, his rogues are causing problems with hostages so he goes to save them but it is a trap. But, Barry just realizes that he is getting set up so he heroically saves the hostages and takes down the Rogues. He looks over across the street and there he is, the Reverse Flash. Barry chases him and he is so angry he goes faster than he’s ever ran that he breaks the time barrier and he travels back moments before his mom is murdered. He stops the Reverse Flash but in doing so he changes the future. Barry wakes up and his Mom is alive. But, the changes Barry made by saving his mom has made a ripple effect on the time line causing WW3 with the Amazon’s, Atlanteans, and Americans. The rest of the movie is exactly like Justice League: the Flashpoint Paradox with it ending with Thawne getting shot in the head and Barry excepting that his mom has to die for him to become a hero. Antony Star is the best choice for the Reverse Flash. Tell me this wouldn’t be a W universe but WB is to stupid and special Ed.🤷🏻‍♂️

Might i also add, DC has full ownership of their characters, ppl forget the reason why we have the Avengers is because Marvel didn’t have the rights to the X-men, Fantastic Four, Spider-man , Deadpool and etc. Also the DCU should be Heavily Influenced by the DCAU

DUDE... it's like James Gunn watched ur video and went "yep." I think you've absolutely nailed it. Bat family is a must. Personally I'd have loved them to keep Keaton, have him be a Nick Fury type figure like Bruce in Batman Beyond. He could be the mentor to BoP, Batgirl aswell as Robin. I do think TSS will stick around in Gunn's DCU, possibly JSA. I do hope they get Michael Rosenbaum as Lex 🙏 do the whole Presidential thing, in league with Davis's Waller. Legion of Doom is a way better big bad than Darkseid imo. Seems like Gunn shares your vision, I see great things coming for DC.

Get rid of The Batman movies the first one sucked and let's get a real to the comics Aquaman.

DC has the advantage over Marvel and that is that they own all the rights to use any character in a movie they should use that to their advantage.

I like this idea. I thought that marvel rushing into the space stuff was to soon. I would have liked the masters of evil vs the avengers. Maybe we can get the justice league vs legion of doom or injustice league.

I would start with Pattinson's The Bat-Man. It's an excellent film that could cornerstone a new universe and doesn't interact with current DCEU franchise.
Next I would do a "Golden Age / Kingdom Come" style Superman who is mature with some graying hair and very known in that world.
Next, of course would be a new Wonder Woman that is the child of Queen Hippolyta and sea god Poseidon. ( Since, in DCEU she is daughter of Zeus. And in DCAU she is daughter of Hades. ).
This plot with Poseidon could also be used to explain hostility between DC Atlanteans and Amazon's. ( Perhaps Diana had a male twin that was supposed become King of Atlantis, but was instead orphaned and raised by lighthouse keeper. Indeed, to hide her liasson with Poseidon... Hippolyta could go on sailor-rape and claim Diana was result. Then have twins....then fill in storyline blanks...

I have my idea for making a DC Cinematic Universe and it’s within The Batman Universe even though it would be a separate universe, but in my opinion I want Robert Pattinson’s Batman continuing forward with two trilogies and it would be best that we introduce the Justice League within The Batman Universe.

Phase 1:
The Batman (2022) - Robert Pattinson’s Batman becomes the Iron Man of the DC Cinematic Universe

The Flash - Focusing on Barry Allen and he also becomes the Hulk of the DC Cinematic Universe (I know that The Flash Movie we’re getting next year will reboot the DCEU)

Wonder Woman - Focusing on Diana in the modern day world and she becomes the Thor of the DC Cinematic Universe (I still like the 2017 Wonder Woman Movie)

Superman: The Man of Steel - Focusing on Clark Kent and he also becomes the Captain America of the DC Cinematic Universe

Aquaman: The King of Atlantis - A reconstruction of the 2018 Movie, but better (I still like the 2018 Aquaman Movie)

Green Lantern - A Movie focusing on Hal Jordan

Martian Manhunter - Setting up Darkseid or Braniac

Justice League - All of the DC Characters team up

That’s how I want a DC Cinematic Universe to play out and it’s starting with Robert Pattinson’s The Batman and it’s only focusing on Phase 1.

This is not the way to reboot the whole DCEU. Do not fall into the trap of what the MCU is offering. Kevin Feige is just a baloney, full of mind games, being a bully. Someone should give him a taste of his own medicine. Make it how it should be but not copying another person's/company's idea. It does not make sense to do so.

So its Tomorrowverse idea

as much as i love the zack snyder's dc stuff like man of steel and zack snyders justice league i would be fine at this point with a reboot.

Very well done but I do say so myself. I want to go to phase 3 though, I would really try and get a a specter movie or series in there because I’m a really huge fan of DC Spectre and I think he’s been criminally underutilized for far too long. Other than ass, you should definitely continue with the green lantern mythos, especially blackest night if you can manage it. Just some free ideas. May turn your ideas into a fanfiction in the future if you’re cool with that.

I want DCEU vs MCU movie 🎥 Adaptation.

What if they cast Robert Pattinson as the Batman for this new cinematic universe like you normally cast an actor . This way they wont interfere with Matt's vision and this new cinematic universe will have a batman with a background without making solo movies for him .
This can also help them fast forward the phase 1. Make a superman movie and then directly make a worlds finest movie. Followed by a trinity movie .

I think DC should just release the flash movie as a way to reboot the DCEU right..... and after that meanwhile just focus on games and animations for about 10 years, then reboot the DCEU.

I would make a movie adaptation of the 2022 Worlds finest run with Robin.
