I'm an English teacher working in secondary education and I feel sad about the UK's divorce. I also see less interest in Britain among young people over here in Germany. It's terrible. I wish the UK would rejoin us. To quote Pink Floyd: "Together we stand, divided we fall."

I’m sure Brexit seemed like a great idea on paper. The reality though is people in Britain are finding out how incompetent and inefficient their own government is. In the end Brexit will be remembered as a big fail.

I find it a very weak sauce critic. The video starts saying that Brexit would be a complete catastrophe, but that is not what it showed. It showed that the economy is under performing, but failed to show that is because of Brexit and not the other main international issues.

In other points, it was down right misleading. The dollar vs pound thing, it was in a clear down turn. As for exports not having a rebound after covid, It also doesn't mean it was because of Brexit.

Besides, the media always had a anti-Brexit bias. Who knows what she is not showing in regards to Brexit that doesn't fit all the narrative. All in all, the UK will continue being one of the largest economies in Europe.
