When you say order from China do you mean order from Taiwan, or is Winspace made in mainland China? Curious because Taiwan is the big dog of bicycle manufacturing, and generally we see great products coming out of Taiwan.
ОтветитьCam, I just wanted to tell you the bike looks fantastic!! The white zipp wheel decals with the tan wall tires just look amazing!!
Ответить$Usd bro...usd😢😅
ОтветитьThat Noosa climb has some good XC MTB intersecting it
ОтветитьDon't know, I think I would have gone with the 530 Effective TT over the 550. I own 530, 535 & 550 Effective TT frames. I've always described the 550 as very "Neutral-Handling" and not particularly snappy. A decent training frame and I have raced it, but I have no plans to build it back up. Also a 25mm setback for a size "L" is going to make for very long reach. Their Geometry is pretty odd though, size "M" seat-tube is pretty short.
ОтветитьSi lo compro,me lo mandan a Argentina xs para frenos herradura?? Gracias
ОтветитьSo my question is can I fit a 11 speed Shimano mechanical not electronic to the t1500 and have all the cables internally routed? I have asked this before and told no this can not be done so would like your opinion?
ОтветитьHambini loved this one
ОтветитьHow much total?! Lol?
ОтветитьIs this suitable for a 5foot tall woman?
ОтветитьCan needs to check out Hambini regarding aero.
ОтветитьGreat viseo
ОтветитьTotal weight?
ОтветитьI wonder what the labor cost was to build. The paint / inspection was about $850 USD for paint and inspection. Labor at a shop to assemble probably $350-600 USD. All together probably closer to $6,000 USD without power meter.
Ответитьhi Cam.. i came across your videos while looking for bike fitting.. im MTB rider but since atm i'm living in UAE there is no point of having a MTB here so decided to buy my first road bike and start pedaling.. i found that mainstream bikes here are crazy expensive starting at around 7.5-8000 which translates to approx 2000€ which is not something i'm willing to spend on my first bike.. however there are some Chinese bikes that are popular here, namely Java and Pardus. Cheapest Pardus Robin Carbon with 105 groups comes at 4000, and even slightly upgraded Spark Carbon Disc is on sale for 4500 atm. Java J-Air Fuoco Pro Carbon comes at 5800 with hydraulics and looking more aero. Both are UCI approved. Those are by no means cheap bikes starting from 1000€ but significant saving compared to mainstream. Unfortunately i cant find any tests and reviews (only few from Philippines as those are also popular in SE Asia) and i see you also reviewed Seka, another Chinese bike. Do you have any info about two mentioned brands?
ОтветитьFor a high end build I would choose the Bianchi Oltre XR4 and for a budget build the Titan Racing Valerian (made in South Africa). Great videos Cam 👍
Ответитьt1500 vs slc 2.0
ОтветитьCam have you tried or heard about the devel AO1?
Ответить@winspace bikes! I just received a crappy frameset with fork from Winspace Singapore!! Please help to resolve my problem!!.
ОтветитьCan you do on the bike brand Java I currently ride it right now it is budget friendly, it has a carbon fork and it has an aero frame and I think they are good. They also have more expensive models as well that are carbon
ОтветитьLove ya Francis 😂😂
Ответитьt1500 vs allez sprint...which more speed?
ОтветитьQuestion... Can it be used as a track bike?
ОтветитьWhat's the impression compared in the same price range?
ОтветитьI also have Force 1x on one of my bikes and that drivetrain also makes that bike feel slow, it’s a gravel setup in all reality. The issue is not only poor chain alignment in 1x setups and larger jumps between gears, but even more so the strong spring in the clutch mechanism of the rear derailleur. I suggest a retest with a 2x road system.
ОтветитьThe paintjob is horrible
ОтветитьOMG THE INTRO! I instantly subscribed.
"What a dickhead, NEEEXT"
I'm really enjoying your content lately! I am looking at bike frames at the moment and through brands as Winspace and Yoeleo, I've been trying to investigate the quality of Chinese roadbike parts. It's hard! Your winspace review really is the only one video I can find of someone actually checking the quality of the carbon. Now, I'm very curious what Gary would say about a lesser known Chinese brands as Trifox.. Maybe an idea for a future project?
ОтветитьWith the tests I have done the Hypers wheels were the slower wheel too. The Hypers always felt slower than my old wheelset but it took me a few months to get myself to admit I may have made a mistake.
Nice review!
So... Wait, the hyper wheels are worse than some zipp alloy in terms of speed (weight and aero) and stiffness?
ОтветитьDevel AO1
ОтветитьDid you check the bottom bracket bearings alignment? This can slow down the bike and give a lot Problems in wearing out the bracket. Don’t just check the alignment but also the fit in terms of roundness of the bearing holder’s.
ОтветитьHi Cam, nice review of the T1500! By the way, do you happen to have a video on how to route the gear cables inside the integrated handlebar-stem for a clean look? Would appreciate if you can show us a "how to". Thanks!
Ответитьlove to build a rimbrake version of this bike ..
ОтветитьSounds a bit much for a Chinese bike
ОтветитьNice bike, pity it has disc brakes though, makes it look like a mountain bike. Disc brakes have no place on a road bike other than as a fashion accessory in my humble opinion.
ОтветитьHello Sam, Good day to you.
I have a few questions for you if you don't mind.
1. Do you mean you route the cable internal in the cockpit but you are using a mechanical RD and FD?
2. How does it perform during riding?
3. Does it mean I don't need Di2 to have a cable-free cockpit?
3. Do you have a video on how you did it?
I would appreciate your kind response to this. Thank you in advance.
Winspace engineered their own wheels, and many are saying they are better than the top brands. So if they can do that, I am certain the can also produce a 2nd generation frame that can surpass (insert brand here) without needing 15-20 engineers.

ОтветитьI am a novice cyclist at 41 years old . I lift weights and my personal weight is 98 kilos . I started with a Focus Cayo Expert @ 8.4kilos with ultegra 3x10 speed and Mavic Ksyrium rims . On my usual 30klm ride I progressed from 23 to 25 to 34klm/hour average speed . Then I saw your video and also Charles Ouimet video and said what the hell . I ordered the T1500 white Medium frame ( height 5'10 ) with their carbon bar ( stem 105mm and 420 width ) , fitted ultegra R8000 all around with a 172.5 crank and its a dream . My bike fitter has seen them all and I mean all top aero bikes and he was amazed with the quality of the T1500 . Its no ordinary chinese bike . So first run with 42C and my lowest speed was 37kph and my highest 50kph ( before it was 29-38 ) . Man this bike is quick !!! . I also pulled a 1450 watt mini sprint @ 60kph ... I do not think there is another bike on the planet for sale at this price that can yield this kind of performance. For the record I paid 1390 euro for the frame and integrated carbon stem-handle bar , 130 euros for the ultegra R8000 direct mount rim brakes and 650 euros for a second hand shimano ultegra 11 speed 52/36 . Wheels are still the Mavic Ksyrium SSC SL with conti 25mm tyres . Forgot to mention that my M frame fully loaded with alloy wheels , 2 bottle holders , single watt pedal and GPS has a weight of 8.0 kilos all in
Ответитьeeen this video To die I wanna talk about Win spice! I appreeshe ight your comments. 😅😅 pure gold.
ОтветитьI'll only spend AUD$1,000.00 max on Chinese made stuff. So the frame is exy af mate.
ОтветитьSo you're testing an aero frame and aero wheels up a climb... did it ever occur to you to turn around and ride down that same hill to get the more relevant data??
ОтветитьDid you put lighter wheels on a bike then act surprised they outperformed aero wheels on a climb? facepalm
Alloy doesn't automatically make a wheelset heavier.
so many "feels". feels are subjective and if you feel like they could have cut you a better deal on that frame you might feel like making your own body a lot less aero.
how does a frame of similar weight "feel" heavier on a climb...?
Man I always love your selection of the ending soundtrack!
ОтветитьHambini !
ОтветитьThanks for a great review Cam! you really saved me on that one cause I was actually considering this frame, Have a TREK Madone 2020 SL, really upgraded with Scribe 50+ wide aero wheels (Fantastic wheels !!!!)and Shimano Ultegra DI2 drivetrain , SLR Handlebar and stem combo, and I must say they also feel EXACTLY EXACTLY like you feel regarding a "heavy riding feel", and that said on a supposed well designed X Gen aero bike from a super innovative brand! I recently rode a Specialized Tarmac SL7 on a weekend ride (of course that the bike is around 1.3 Kg lighter) , 90K ride with climbs & descents , flats, slalom flats so I guess that was all a terrain has to offer and was blown away by the handling and the way the bike just kept me out there on the speed I tried to hang on to, going back to the Madone was hard (despite its devastating looks) I feel like I am riding a wagon now :-( , it was like the response is delayed and I felt less secure on descents and on sprints out of the saddle on the flats than on the SL7...I am considering to switch to SL7 next year or checking out more bikes on this category that are assumed to be availble like the Factor Ostro VAM...any thought about reviewing the Ostro?
