Thank you for this I’m new and I came from no man’s sky while looking for other great space games and it was a bit complex at the start but now it’s easier

I was expecting this game to be overly complicated but this basic tutorial and the fact that you can semi-easily learn more complex stuff over time has intrigued me.

old video but damn this was amazing :) starting in this game is rather confusing at least to me :D but this really helped get me started, specially the rock i had no idea i could refine that i just left it behind looking for iron and stuff :D no wonder i struggled hehe

i got turned off from this game right from the get go the DIRTY IDIOT DEVS that made this game fucked up all over the place... i have never come across anything so poorly put together as the tutorials i didnt know whether i was coming or going, and now i see you make the same comments putting the start AT THE BOTTOM OF THE LIST these people need a hard kick in the teeth i tried to get it refunded but went past my 2 hrs mark just trying to make heads or tails of this nightmare.... shelved it never going to touch another game from these idiots ever again and if i ever come across one of these A holes lets just say they wont be very happy

Hi! Great video series! I'm struggeling with one thing though. I can't make the survival kit because i need 3 medical comp. which requires silver to make. How did you assemble that before moving your base to a new location which has the good ores? Thanks for any help!

Wish I would've seen this first. First thing I did was grind down the whole drop pod. Lol.

If you want to play with mods, and the mod button is disabled, goto the game settings and enable Experimental Mode.
If economy is enabled, look in your seat on the drop pod, you will find a datapad, right click it and it will give you a location to a trading outpost, head there to get started on economy.

gonna have to start a game after work now. always got so confused with what to do in the beginning i always gave up

I actually like to start with the space pod granted I spend about 15 minutes rebuilding the front 😅 but it far easier then starting on the planets or moons

I'm such an idiot I bought Space Engineers well over a year ago. Launched it then thought wow I thought this was a survival game not just scenarios.

Wow, i remember when you would spawn on a platform with a red and green ship to troll around in xD

My light armor blocks tend to randomly disappear if i dont weld them up at least a little bit.

I have a question, now that I've attached and built a basic base I cant seem to copy blueprints and paste that components into either the survival kit or the basic assembler.
Am I doing something wrong?

We should be able to just tap alt to reset the third person camera.

I played a bit years and years ago. The new submarine in gta online reminded me of this game so much that I’m looking into playing it again lol

omg, this saved me lol! I started up the premade start where I was dropped on an asteroid only to get completely lost in all the different options and controls set in front of me. My brain got lost in the possibilities, making it nearly impossible to find the proper beginning of the way forward lol. Watching this gave me more direction by not giving any unnecessary information, helping m to block all the rest out until I'm ready for it. Tysm!! <3

Hiya, so I made the steel plate in production like you said, but no matter what I do, the plate refuses to move from its' spawn location. I can pick up everything else like the gravel, silicon wafer, nickel ingot, but the wafer will not budge.

Great guide but would be a bit confusing to beginners what with gravel being called stone all the time.
