Does not seem any pressure being applied the issue always is space at the side of clutch is it not ?

Anyone have tips for preventing unwanted brake movment whilst using heel toe. I come up off the brakes a little every time i move my foot over and blip the throttle. Is there any way to prevent this or is it just a normal side effect when using heel and toe?

Got taught how to heel and toe, plus double-declutch, as a fourteen year old; nearly sixty years later I still do it.

Do you know any info on the height of the pedals (from where the heels rest to the center of the pedals), the angle of the foot resting on the pedals or the angle of the knees? :D trying to setup my racing simulator closer to this since I have inverted pedals on mine.

Aren’t you supposed to keep your foot on the dead pedal while shifting? Doesn’t riding the clutch and revving the engine ware the synchromesh or something. I’m not a race car driver tho just wondering

Relatively new to manual here, can someone explain to me why he rests his foot on the clutch while driving?

i always wondered if they left foot brake ever on a manual but i guess not. makes it less intimidating

I took a racing course when I was young. To this day, 45 years later, I still test my brakes before a turn or stop light.

I can see that the driver goes through the gears in order when he downshifts. Wouldn’t be okay to just jump the gears to the desired gear + H&T when driving at a turn? Without going through them one by one, that is.
