I mean let's just forget about the thing that Dan was gossip girl. Still he wrote really bad things about Serena in his articles on the last season. Yet he knew they were together. Serena loved Dan. Whereas, Dan thought Serena doesn't see him equally bc he wasn't from the upper east side. So he chose to hurt her. Dan said he always loved Serena but on his book inside was all about Blair. IRONY ☠️
But Nate and Serena relationship were so solid and nice. Nate particularly is the male version of Serena. He even broke up with sage bc sage leaked Serena Dan's sex tape. Nate stood by her and stayed whole night when she was in the hospital. HOW TF THEY WERE NOT THE END GAME!

Serena never loved Nate. She wanted him because he was with Blair. S true love was always Dan no matter how many men she slept with. I wish the gave N more substance to his character. He slept with a lot of women in the show. If I had to pick, I would have loved him be endgame with Jenny H. They looked the best together. Just my opinion.
