ОтветитьI can't recall the first time I heard this song. But everytime I listen or hear, something deep inside me is triggered. Like my roots, an ancestors' call. Thanks to them to make this happen in my life.

ОтветитьHarmonic and balance. No sweat
ОтветитьWorked on one of his documentaries of how the songs with came about... his on and off friendship with childhood friend Art Garfunkel. And how the South African band had to wade through the constraints of apartheid to record their songs. It's a documentary that deserves a Netflix Special cos it's an emotional roller-coaster type of documentary and tells you how great humans can be when we show a little love! He showed great love and respect to the Ladysmith Black Mambazo band!
Ответить❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьClassic and priceless and timeless. Many would claim that this is cultural appropriation by the west into the cultures of Africa, but Amartya Sen would claim that this is the celebration of cultural heterogeneity in a time of global convergence of cultures=]. Thanks Paul simon for using your platform for giving voice to the voiceless and a home to the “homeless.” Classic and timeless and priceless =]
Ответить"We're homeless, homeless, we're moonlight sleeping on a midnight lake."
ОтветитьSempre, sou tomada de emoção quando ouço "Homeless" no vocal desse maravilhoso grupo juntamente com Paul Simon. É mil vezes show!!!!!!!! Amo musica afro.
