Okay I hate how the other cats just decided to blame goose feather. He was doing his job as a medicine cat and when he saw sign from StarClan he shouldn't keep quiet about it if it's not needed to keep secret. Medicine cats mostly always talk about the visions from StarClan with at least their leader. They all thought they could blame it on a cat that was just trying to do the best for his clan like they all did. It didn't matter if sign is from the sky, ground, prey or herbs. Sign is a sign. If it's ignored it will most likely evolve in a tradegy if not taken care of. And still, she was his sister. And none of the cats showed any sympathy or compassion to him. I really hate how goose feather was treated by his clan.

Poor Goosefeather. All of these cats are falsely accusing him of indirectly killing his sister, Moonflower, when really it was Stormtail that indirectly got her killed! He was probably so heartbroken. Pinestar is actually right in this situation.(other than the fact that he’s a terrible father) He’s just a medicine cat. Medicine cats - while they often interpret signs from starclan, they don’t know everything! It’s not Goose’s fault for accidentally interpreting a battle. Awful.

No matter how many times I watch this, it never gets old. It’s great, I love it.

Moonflower wouldn’t have died if Pinestar had just waited until Bluekit and Snowkit were 6 moons old instead of 4. And there were plenty of cats who could’ve saved Moonflower, like Swiftbreeze. She just watched her die while holding Moonpaw back, she could’ve easily hurried to help her. It wasn’t Goosefeather’s fault at all.

It’s pretty stupid how they’re blaming goosefeather as they were the ones who instigated the battle and attacked windclan over a stupid reason no matter if it was an omen from starclan.

Because he was the one to send the Clan into the battle, Goosefeather probably already felt guilty and grief-stricken enough about Moonflower’s death without having his Clanmates shame him for it. And honestly it wasn’t his fault. How was he supposed to know what would happen?

I cried in class reading this part

To be honest I get why everyone was angry with Goosefeather. Not that I personally hate him for what happened, but this whole battle happened because he led the clan to believe Starclan was on their side in this battle and that it was the best option. Losses like this can happen in any battle, but the fact that this battle was prompted only by Goosefeather misleading them makes it reasonable that cat's would be upset with him. He's their medicine cat, interpreting signs from Starclan is his job, of course they listened to him, and yet it seems like Starclan themselves stood against them in this battle. As Robinwing said, "Would Starclan have blessed the battle with a storm like that?!". And the brunt of the criticism came from people who were very close to Moonflower as well. Robinwing and Sunstar were two close friends. Swiftbreeze was not only her best friend, but was kin too. I'm not saying Goosefeather is necessarily a bad person, but I don't blame the other's for being angry here.
