In this situation, everyone says what a jerk Kai is, but Skylor herself gave him signals. If Skylor didn’t want a relationship with him (or wanted to, but was offended), she could not respond to his flirting from the beginning and not flirt back. What Kai assumed was quite logical, he thought she was giving him signals and that she was still interested in him and finally decided to take the next step. From the beginning, when he flirted with her, she behaved normally, but when he proposed to become a couple, she lashed out at him. Or Skylor just wanted all of their relationship to be just flirting, that's all?

I didn’t like this scene. It’s Crystalized and they’re still not together?! They should have gotten together in season 4 or sooner after that rather than THIS… Skylor is a great ally and friend to the ninja but she acts flirty with Kai but gets annoyed when he tries to be a couple? (To be clear, when she said “hiya hotshot” and winked at Kai, that was the acting flirty) Kai has saved Ninjago many times, he’s a really good person, and deserves the best. If Skylor really liked him, she would have said yes. She could have at least been clearer with intentions rather than acting flirty and then acting annoyed at him!

Back in season 4, the development between Kai and Skylor was fun to watch. It wasn’t perfect but it went in the right direction for the most part. Afterwards it wasn’t the same. In order to fix this, there needs to be DEPTH between these 2 characters rather than just a few appearances together. Jay and Nya have depth, Zane and Pixal have depth, and their relationships are a lot more healthy where they really understand and care for one another. In order for Kai and Skylor to be like that, they need to have more screen time together where they can work things out and have a proper continuation of their time together in season 4.

When Kai and Skylor worked together in season 4, it was amazing. Jay and Nya’s relationship develop in season 6 was amazing to watch. And oh boy, Lloyd and Harumi… even though it’s much different (with Harumi betraying him and trying to kill him), it still has depth in Crystalized. Kai and Skylor needs more of that.

It could go in at least 2 directions. There could be some similar events to season 4 where Kai and Skylor work together and gain a stronger bond… OR… Kai could become fed up with Skylor and make her jealous! Then Skylor could realize she really loves Kai and try to win him back. Honestly we just need SOMETHING between them! And c’mon Kai, MAKE HER JEALOUS OR SOMETHING! Go thug life Gohan beast mode or something lmao

I love the boys in the show but the girls are so Badass. The ninja are all terrified of Nya when she’s mad. And skylor is just like “are you serious?” And pixal is just amazing in general and in season 12 when Zane is a detective is like “this is what I have to put up with”. And harumi is so cool as well, and Akita too, and vania. I just love the girls, I may be biased cuz I’m lesbian lol
