If you want to check out some other cool modern synth music, you should really check out death grips. Not sure if youd LIKE them, but they undoubtedly have some really interesting sound design and synth work, especially on tracks like "Fuck Whos Watching" "Death Grips is Online", "Hacker", and " The Powers That B"
ОтветитьWow! This sounds so brutal!🤘
Ответитьms2000
ОтветитьLet’s turn off the drums.
Drums start playing
“😠😠😠😠”
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Very cool tut. \m/
Anyone know of a software equivalent to the Doctor Click? I've been looking for something like this, but for individual tracks/instruments, mapped to MIDI controls.

ОтветитьI love to see that a producer like you, who actually worked on MJ's Thriller, can show some appreciation for newer genres like dubstep, that to many are just noise. And it talks so deeply to me because I love the 80s, and I love dubstep. Thanks for making these videos and for sharing your experience. <3
ОтветитьCRUSHED IT
ОтветитьSounds awesome. You’re awesome.
ОтветитьVery cool! Love the tempo display on the Dr. Click. Wicked jam too!
Ответитьgreat approach and methods, and it looks like you are having so much fun making this music!
ОтветитьAnthony and team… wanna say thank you again for these videos! The content and insight is top notch!!! I would really love to see some lower end gear being incorporated as well as other interesting CV hacks like this dub step video! Tighter close ups on gear and what Anthony is doing would also be appreciated 🙏
ОтветитьAbsolutely badass
ОтветитьAnalogue psytrance recreation would be epic
ОтветитьSorry, but that's an acid "WOW," not a dubstep "WUB." :-( Nice try though. :-)
ОтветитьVery cool and interesting! Makes me wonder if this can be emulated in Ableton with the CV tools? Inspired!
Ответитьhey, just want to remind you that you create a pre-techno movement with Michael Jackson's Thriller within analog synthesizer programming. I'm so glad you started posting on the internet, people have been trying to find you via threads for quite awhile! you have changed the course of music theory forever by your work, and helped usher techno from a disco era to an 80s kickoff at age 22 alongside Michael. thank you, music theorists/historians/artists/producers/engineers are grateful for you! your popular sound then went into The Wizard's hands, and young teenage high school Belleville at the time after The Wizard's hands: then going into hip hop legacy, J Dilla + Slum Village. you just helped me piece together music history, and theory trace, thanks so much! Godbless you!
ОтветитьI do something similar with my modular. I’ll use a clock divider or gate sequencer with a speed or rate input. I’ll use a stepped voltage to increase and decrease the rate of the gate outputs. It’s instant IDM.
Ответить"Hi I'm Anthony Marinelli, and at 5m09sec I'm going to melt your mind"🤯😵🤯. Wow!!! Sir! Please release some tracks of this kind we can download! Do a Lazer light tour!!... Rabbit in the moon, skylab2000..... 18 months into electronic music synth adventure This channel has been the most enlightening and inspirational! Wow.
ОтветитьThese tutorials are amazing. Liked and subscribed.
ОтветитьShoutout KISS 🔥 ❤ nice hoodie!!
ОтветитьAwesome video!! I kinda do the same thing!! I make music with Dubstep and Trap influence and I use vintage beasts and newer analog monsters
ОтветитьThat MS-20 sounds absolutely monstrous. Love it!
ОтветитьThank You!! Instant Subscribe and Like... loving the enthusiasm breadth and utility of information on this channel. You're massively appreciated.
ОтветитьSomeone almost got killed for not muting the drums, Lol!
ОтветитьI love this!! I have a Prophet 12, Polivoks, and a MatrixBrute. They totally will rip it up for an all-hardware synth dubstep jam. Is there a modern alternative to that Doctor Click rhythm controller? it's so awesome...
ОтветитьAnthony this sounds so amazing! And it’s very creative! There’s nothing like the sound of analog! Is there another device out there to similar to Dr. click?
ОтветитьHahahaha..Nice solution to an analog "problem".
ОтветитьHi Anthony can I suggest for the next thing could you try to recreate 90s trance bass like in the latest calvin harris song.
Ответитьthanks for making these videos, highly enjoyable, super inspiring
Ответитьloving these demo/instructional. clear communicator. my new fav channel. would be good to have the intensity of the modulation fade in with each new note.
ОтветитьI use a my korg emx 1 groove box to make dubstep but I have a ms20 reissue maybe I'll try this!
ОтветитьThis is incredible. Authentic tones and musicianship, played by hand and by feel. Keep 'em coming! I'd love to see a progression of this video where you continue building and adding layers. Thanks to the whole team for putting it all together for us.
Ответитьme encanta este canal, gran descubrimiento
ОтветитьBrostep, not dubstep
ОтветитьI appreciate the effort, I really do. But this is just no contest against Skrillex.
ОтветитьI wish I could do dawless stuff without breaking the bank lol
ОтветитьThis is not dub step bro
ОтветитьOh yeah 🤘 The Polivoks in my little studio is used for the same goals)
ОтветитьThat is a wicked sound.
ОтветитьBut how do you make Dub on Stepsynths? Kind of a let down...
ОтветитьI love this!
ОтветитьOh this is gonna be fun
ОтветитьVery creative approach, love it. It's great to see how much fun you have. Rock on!
ОтветитьI love the 80's, and I wanna smoke crack !.!.!
Ответитьlove the video, try putting drums through overdrive/fuzz/distortion 🙂
ОтветитьCould also throw some bitcrusher effects into that with a S&H using a fast enough trigger rate. Although I saw it demonstrated on a computer, my loose understanding is that there are analog S&H units. Might be neat to play with at some point.
