Hi I need your help
ОтветитьExcellent video Mark,thank you.Being a novice this is invaluable......UK.
ОтветитьWhat if you have a gate valve at the Tee instead of a valve on the S and a separate valve on the D?
Ответитьif it is coming up from hill, how long do we have to wait to see if it works. -- I have been trying to prime this for entire week and is not working.
ОтветитьGreat video!!!
ОтветитьAwesome 👏🏻
ОтветитьYou did it again! Geez, as a new pool owner, I could not for the life of me, get my pump primed. This video was exactly what I needed. Your key valve replacement and this video are life savers. Thank you!
ОтветитьBeen trying to prime for hours! Followed this video and worked first time!!! ❤❤❤
ОтветитьExcellent video and a very talented teacher. Wish I had a math teacher this good growing up 😕😁
ОтветитьMine is a pump for a water feature and it doesn’t have any valves to close to prime it. So I fill it but water just keeps going in and not filling. Any ideas on how to prime it?
ОтветитьThis guy saved my pool. Every time I called the pool company regarding my pump not priming, they fixed it and charged me $150 without telling me how. It is so simple that even my 11 year old can do that.
ОтветитьThank you Mark We just talked to you at the store a little while ago and you told us to watch the video very informative awesome everybody needs to watch these!! Thank you so much!!
ОтветитьI LOVE YOU !!!!! Thank you so so much!!! I have been looking for this video forever !!!!
ОтветитьHow do I prime on or the other if both my drain and skimmer are on the same T valve with 3 port diverter valve?
ОтветитьBravissimo
ОтветитьUnfortunately, the only valve I have controls the mix of skimmer vs drain. There is no way to shut both lines off. How would I prime in that situation?
ОтветитьThanks for telling me to shut off pump, then close skimmer valve and drain valve, then open to clean basket help save suction. Works great to help save prime, never knew this.Your the BEST!!!
ОтветитьCan you show how to prime the pump when you have just the one multiport valve for the skimmer and drain. Not sure how you close both then open one at a time. Thank you
ОтветитьThe logic makes sense but i am confused as why having the pump connected (pulls water) to both skimmer and drain line. Couldn’t the drain be done with a divert valve after the pump. My pump pulls water in from the skimmer and/or the spa, controlled by an Ortega divert valve. I don’t have any valve to control the flow to the pump to speed up priming. Maybe it’s just my pool’s older construction? Thx
ОтветитьPump guy
ОтветитьIt worked! Thank you!
Ответитьmy goodness man. no one can touch you on pools.. These other guys making pool videos are jokers compared to you.. thank you for your thorough video.
ОтветитьWell explained....Thank you
Ответитьthese videos are the best! thank you.
ОтветитьNew to pools, pump wasn't priming, put new seal kit in, still not priming. This video provided the knowledge needed to understand how to properly prime the system. Very well done systematic description. Bravo!!!
ОтветитьI cannot get my pump to prime. I only have one intake line, from my floor drains. It's about 10'along the bottom of the pool, 6'vertical, then 12' to my pump. How long can I let the pump run with no water coming in? Been using your approach for the last hour, getting frustrated
ОтветитьThank you. I am using a .75 HP pump for an in ground DIY splasher pool. I though I would have to locate the pump inlet below the waterline by placing it in a hole in the ground, but after watching this, it seems that all I really need is a valve and a garden hose for priming.
ОтветитьI've never had an issue opening my pool until this year. My system is roughly 20 ft away and about 3.5 ft below the pools water line (1/2 way on skimmer). Usually as soon as I unplug my skimmers and open the valves, water flows into the pump basket effortlessly. This year it did not. I'm going to try this priming process and hope for the best.
ОтветитьGreat video.
ОтветитьClose values to clean basket!!! Thank you!!
ОтветитьGreat video and very clear! Would you advise when you clear the pump filter to set the 6-way valve to closed as well?
ОтветитьSo what do you do if you have a Jandy valve only?
ОтветитьVery clear. Thanks.
ОтветитьWhenever I open the pump to clean out the basket. I fill it up with water, close it and turn on the pump but sometimes it doesn’t prime. What am I doing wrong? Any advise would be helpful and appreciated.
ОтветитьAfter priming, why did you not bleed the air off the filter?
ОтветитьDumb question but is the drain what's going back through the pool filter to the pool?
ОтветитьThe best pump prime video ever! I wish I had this video years ago as I have just been winging it the whole time.
ОтветитьWould this be the same for a cartridge pool filter system?
ОтветитьMy skimmer has the 2 holes in it. I do not have valves to open and close; how would I prime?
ОтветитьThis dude is an absolute genius. This method worked immediately after hours of priming the pump our traditional way I pay him for this video lol what's your cash app?
ОтветитьThank you ! You just saved me at least $100. Took 3 primes to get it going like you said but it’s working !
ОтветитьYou sir are a gift from god, first time owner here and I did what you said except I was opening the skimmer all the way instead of little by little how you suggested. Thanks for the tips! Thumbs up and sub
ОтветитьWhat setting do you put the pump on while priming?
ОтветитьI live in Massachusetts, I just got an estimate for a new liner installed 20x40 rectangular in ground pool,.. ready for this one ?……. $9,800.00 ( called seven places and that’s the only person who called back and there’s a four week to six week wait to install )… is that outrageous or what ?
ОтветитьGreat video , thank you !…. I have a Hayward e65 filter and I was wondering if I should open the little air relief knob on top or the filter to let air out as I’m priming the pump,.. I was told to do this for a few seconds until I get a steady stream of water and then screw it down tight to close it ?
ОтветитьMark,
Out of the godzillion videos I've watched, yours are the best of all the rest. I trust your advice and you know all the ins and outs of the trade and thank you for making so many videos!! I don't know what I would had done without you. I joined your Patreon service. Thx Yvanna Lucero
Oh my goodness! After battling to prime a new pump (new pool) we came across this video. Absolutely nailed it, thank you so much for sharing your knowledge, you saved us a massive headache 😊😊😊
ОтветитьOne of the BEST videos I’ve seen to date!! You saved me an EASY THOUSAND bucks from a “numb-nut know it all” who KNEW how to prime the pump on my new pool. This EXACT pump. He did NOT know. In fact he did everything wrong and I saw the water boiling and kicked his arse out and then found your video. He has a pool too. And it worked. Lord only knows how but he won’t be touching my pool again! Thanks again!!!!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
ОтветитьSo I have a valve inbetween my pump and my filter, should I always leave that valve open during this process?
Ответить
