This was when Tom Hanks was where he should've stayed...making these memorable moments that make us weep.
ОтветитьGreat scene!
ОтветитьVERY 😊 TYPICAL of 80s ad agency pitches and story board teams. The WHOLE airline.
ОтветитьA FAVORITE Movie. This scene is a favorite.
ОтветитьI saw this movie when I was in 10th grade and realized I wanted to be David and in Advertising. Went to Syracuse's S.I. Newhouse School of Communications for Advertising. Graduated and worked as a copywriter for 3 great years. Until I realized the folks on the other side of the table made the decisions. So got my MBA...and jumped to the other side of the table and product marketing for software. Still, loved my time in advertising and the industry. And yes, it was so much different back then. Pre-mac computers and digital layouts. Crazy but fun times.
ОтветитьI'm still not sure if this was supposed to be cringe or not.
Ответить“Call me Hattie.”
ОтветитьThis reminds me of all the satires of american business advertising I've seen in my lifetime, from Darren Stevens/McMahon and Tate of Bewitched,to Jesse and Joey when they were in advertising on Full House, and all the rants of George Carlin ridiculing advertising. But it's well done and funny
ОтветитьLoved this Film.
ОтветитьFor an 80's movie, only guy I see with a mullet hairstyle.
ОтветитьHi, Homer Simpson for Colonial Airlines...
Ответитьcoherent storytelling wins the heart...
ОтветитьThe chick doing grandma’s voice always cracked me up.
Ответить“Do you have anything else, David?”
GAH that is true to life 😡
I work in advertising. Obviously its now 35 years later and so things are different. But this scene stayed with me. Yes it's just business, but it's good business.
ОтветитьI love this movie.
ОтветитьI'd fly that plane.
