A car with spherical tires would not have any moving parts. Everything will literally move by magnetics, and maintenance would be easier

Già studiai le ruote sferiche nel 2004.
Il 1º problema è la quantità tu energia necessaria, che sarebbe di tipo MagLev.
2º: la struttura della gabbia. Che si parli di attrazione/repulsione…se quella gabbia cede…so cazz.
3º: la costruzione della ruota.
Nel mio progetto pensai a 2 sezioni, quello di GoodYear del 2016 è più complesso.
4º: lo spazio. Se si è vero che ci sono molti vantaggi, ci sono altrettanti svantaggi. Lo spazio per una ruota che possa dare luce a terra come quella di un suv sarebbe enorme.
Immaginate una sfera di 22” 😅

ОтветитьThis would be a good tire for automated semi trucks. A basic version could have 3 different tread patterns: summer, all season, and metal studded ice pattern and the tire would shift on its latitude depending on which pattern was required based on tire slippage. This would eliminate the need for chaining in heavy snow and ice and rotating could be accomplished by spinning the tire 180 degrees ensuring even wear on both sides.
