A wonderful performance of a very unique arrangement that incorporates elements of Handel's Messiah. Since it is believed that American school teacher, composer and choir director Lowell Mason took phrases from “Comfort Ye” and “Lift Up Your Heads” from The Messiah to fit the words of this song, this arrangement helps us put those phrases into context and perhaps the mind of Mason when he wrote the melody.
