My shitty 125 has some panels taped on
The first time I rode it I walked it forwards and found a small rubber tube sitting in the rode where my bike was. Still don’t know what that tube was for
I am the only owner of a 2019 HD FXDRS 114. Purchased it new. I have 21,000 miles on it. Yes, I ride a lot. Doesn’t mean I rag on it. It is a very well maintained bike. Never dropped it. Regardless, when the day comes to sell it, because my insurance company will not insure anyone except me the owner, the only way anyone will test ride it is cash in hand. The amount I agree to. If the buyer drops it. They own it. I’m ok with buyer getting it inspected because nothing is wrong with it. I have all the maintenance receipts and aftermarket upgrades. Who ever buys my bike will be fortunate. Ride safe. And yes, there are people who ride and never drop a bike.
Ответитьsuch vulgarity
ОтветитьIf you find a car tire on back, Run very far away. Darksiders just dont like doing maintainance. Also yeah cash in your hand does not equal test ride with many people. Cash in their hand and you bought it with an agreement that 30 minute ride and you find the transmission is missing 2nd gear you get a refund is what you will find. I have had "cash in hand" people drop my bike or even outright crash it and bugger off "sorry".... Not doing that again. Also anyone without a cycle endorsement shopping? No test rides and I'm probably not even gonna let them sit on it.
ОтветитьThe scariest part is when the buyer says they're working on their driver's category. Do you really want the buyer to test drive it?
ОтветитьI'm assuming the seller's name is Jenny? Nice phone number on the for sale sign.
Ответитьlove phone number on for sale sign
ОтветитьSomeone own you an Oscar trophy :)
Ответить''To make judgements, to name a price''
Your gravitas gave me shivers.
Well played sir.
Motorcycles are not remotely all the same. And many have unique characteristics. Understanding what you are buying is useful. If your buying a BMW paralever has it been pulled apart and serviced. Has BMW done a cold check of valve clearances on the 4v engine. Some Ducati are pretty robust but even monsters can have difficult brake issues and obtaining parts for some a nightmare and as for my Suzuki GT 750... you had better understand that oil injection system and everything else for that matter or you can blow holes in the middle piston...
ОтветитьUseful and well composed. Thanks and ride on
ОтветитьI like the style of these videos. Very maticulate approach, very intelligent writing and entertaining format. That said, I would suspect that the casting of all the cyclists in this video as extras is not accidental?
ОтветитьJust noticed the phone number!! LOL So it's Jenny's bike eh?
ОтветитьYou live in Van? Dude let's ride!
ОтветитьThose type of tire gauges are notoriously wrong every time.
ОтветитьOne thing you should always look at when buying a bike is look inside the gas tank. If its packed full of rust dont buy it unless your willing to neutralize and seal the tank.
ОтветитьStill waiting for you to fight yourself 😂
ОтветитьHow yall be dropping your bikes so much? It was the previous owner I'm not lying lol
ОтветитьI use the same tactics on ALL motorized vehicles I check out for myself or others. I've gotten pretty good at it also. When they start over explaining things, I either run or bargain depending on my findings. Got some GREAT deals for this. Great video man. Got that Voom insurance also. Thanks for the tips.
ОтветитьJust found this channel, doing my A1 license in germany for 125cc and this channel is really helping me, thank you.
ОтветитьThe dude is so funny and clever to just throw change during the test ride lol 😊
ОтветитьYou leave your pen light at home. I shall feel like the smart one here.
ОтветитьI am just honest if selling, set a fair price, disclose any issues and price accordingly. Buyer usually picks up on this. If not I wait for next buyer.
ОтветитьYou are one of those who come to buy a motorcycle for 2k and think they are going to buy a motorcycle of the year
ОтветитьUnless you have a ktm which in the case a slow and struggling crank means its healthy. Cold starts aren't KTM's thing...
ОтветитьMy father and I always do this stuff when we buy a bike but we kinda broke these rules on our last purchase. An 07 Victory Vegas with a 6 speed. We had to put some work into it and still needs some tuning but man we really wanted that 6 speed
Ответить"the previous owner" 😂
ОтветитьWish i watched this video before i...
3 week stuck at repairshoop.
yeah...
If every motorcycle is dropped by every rider then why ask?
ОтветитьDoes Jenny know her motorcycle is for sale? 😂
ОтветитьI put 7k miles on a bike in 2 months and literally never dropped it once. Just dont be an idiot and you'll never drop your motorcycle.
Ответитьquestion, I been wanting a bike, and did A LOT of research into the 600cc naked bike category. I came down to the cb650r. Perfect amount of tech for me, ABS/TCS/Slipper Clutch and a cable throttle! Just so happens a guy on craigslist posted his 2019 cb650r 7k miles SC Project exhaust, Single seat w/fairing, sato racing rearsets and a “tail tidy”. He’s asking $8k and from the pictures it looks pretty dam clean like-new. Haven’t seen it in person yet so I can’t speak for the oil/fork seals/tires/burnout rubber. I also don’t know how he drives or maintains his bikes, but where I live speed limited are 50mph and we don’t have long highways so I doubt he did much high speed craziness. Is 8k a deal or should I try offer him $7.5-7k? A dealer on Oahu quoted me $11k out the door, but then I’d have to ship it back home myself. What do you think?
ОтветитьTelltale sign someone is low balling you: they quote this video but still want to buy the bike for $500.” If it’s that big of a piece of just walk away. I sold the bike two weeks later for my asking price
ОтветитьWow, he's like the Sherlock Holmes of Motorcycles 😂😂
ОтветитьMan. You look like Timothy omundson (however you spell it)
ОтветитьSold my motorcycle for 20% its original price been using it for 2 years
Just so i could buy a bigger bike haha
L.A. noire flashback
ОтветитьNever buy a bike with a missing drive chain. Used to hide engine is seized, gears don't select, cannot check compression etc, No Chain? Just walk away.
ОтветитьDepends what you consider a drop. Had one sink into the asphalt in a parking lot and fall over. But that was it
Ответить5 minutes talking to owner I can tell you even if I have not seen bike, bike is the owner. Think of all the riders you know if you think about it you know the ones you would buy from sight unseen
ОтветитьI absolutely look at the owner when buying a bike. Sketchy looking dude with tattoos all over his face and a weird demeanor? I’ll pass.
ОтветитьChapter 6 do not buy a used gsxr
Ответитьso basically what ur saying is, if i try to sell you a used bike, you will test and diagnose problems with my bike.... for FREE? I'm never paying a dealership again, im posting my bike on craigslist and just never accepting offers
ОтветитьIt isn’t always the time to flex your negotiation muscles. Watched a buddy negotiate his way out of a bike easily worth 6k that was listed at 4k firm. Bud was just to savvy to pay asking. No joke if it would have been listed at 6 negotiable my buddy would have paid 5500. He just couldn’t bring himself to pay asking.
ОтветитьGood luck getting permission for a test drive before you buy it.
Me personally wouldn't allow it too, because it is a liabilitiy risk. If he crashes, I'm screwed.
If the buyer wants, we can arrange a mechanic to check on it, but no riding until I pass ownership.
be cautious when the previous owner tells you the tires look new....lol check the date codes on the sidewall...last bike I bought, tread looked new. but...tires were 11 years old..lesson learned
ОтветитьIs Jenny going to answer when I call?
ОтветитьIf only he could see the market now, the ball is never in your court 🤣
Ответить😂👏👏❤
