ماهي المادة التي يتم صنع كاس تبخير زر الرصاص
ОтветитьThanks Jason for all your informative content. Quick question, if i wanted to convert flour gold into a button and pull off other base metals would i need to make the button first or can the flour gold go into the cupel with lead and skip the melting a button step? Also with using lead instead of bismuth what would the ratio be roughly?
ОтветитьMost modern day jewelry is fake. This includes gold, silver, and diamonds.
ОтветитьThank you.
Question if I may.
What's the best way to sell gold jewelry I find? Melt and refine it as you did or just sell as is, at a place that buys gold?
Thanks again
I have about 60 grams of scrap rose gold that may have a overload of copper how much bismuth would I need to refine it
ОтветитьGood day, I want to know if this method will work for rose gold and bring it back to regular color gold. How long do you keep it melting for in the furnace.
Ответитьis there any risk for base metals like led or mismuth ti still be in the gold after this step?
ОтветитьAlways wondered how to separate the gold from other metals. Now I have more questions 😀😀
ОтветитьCan you do this without a furnace and just use a hot enough torch as a replacement
ОтветитьCan you use fishing lead weights that’s the only source of lead I have lol
ОтветитьI have some placer gold and some gold chains would like to melt them down. Using just borax and a torch maybe.
ОтветитьIs this method possible without the furnace, but using a high temperature gas torch(s) to melt the metals to a liquid then absorb the base copper, zinc, lead into the cupel?
ОтветитьI want gold 2 biscuits
ОтветитьHi Jason, the initial weight loss is probably due to the iron getting partially into the borax glass. The lock mechanism on necklaces/ bracelets usually contains an iron steel spring. It might be worth removing the spring prior any purification. Some iron can also come from the mold.
ОтветитьWhat is the cupell made of
ОтветитьNicely done! Thanks for sharing!
It's better to turn that gold into jewelry & sell it than it is to lose 10% selling it to a refiner.
Great video anyone know if you could use this technique for electronic gold recovery?
ОтветитьIf you buy over 1500 worth of gold it’s tax free
ОтветитьThank you. I have a bunch of 10k gold rings I want to melt and have been looking for a video on how to separate the metals. I have a propane devil forge furnace is the process basically the same? Just using bismuth and letting oxygen get into the mix?
Ответить❤
ОтветитьThanks it was a cool video but Even better it’s the value I was interested in so all my 14 k scrap leave it scrap till I have enough to trade for 24 for the long run👍
ОтветитьThanks it was a cool video but ev
ОтветитьI melt a lead item in my gold 28g including the lead over all weight can you help
ОтветитьThat iron that caused the green color likely due to the presence of a steel spring in the clasp
ОтветитьVery COOL....TY
ОтветитьHello Jeff I'm curious what the noise was the firing up the kilm? Are you pushing air in?
ОтветитьI just started going into my local pawn shops looking to build a stash of scrap gold to one day refine (im trying to get like Sreetips tbh) and ive noticed theyre pretty spot on with scrap prices. Some pieces go for less than scrap and others maybe a couple dollars over - but the way i see it theres always gonna be some kinda premium so overpaying 1-2$ for a piece doesnt really bother me. Im after the 24kt inside anyways 😂
ОтветитьNow how do you separate the gold from the silver and be left with one silver button and one gold button ?
Ответить$100 you can buy a furnace on Amazon or about $60 you can buy a small furnace on Amazon.
Ответитьthanks- interesting and usefull
ОтветитьYou started with 5.494 grams of 14K.
Once you melted and dropped the button you had a weight of 5.411 gram button the remainder weight lost was from the spring (Fe,Cr,Ni,Mo) stainless alloy in the lobster claw clasp and zinc oxidizing. Every time I XRF before I melt and after the melt I usually lose zinc % on reading. Zn in alloy reaches the boiling point and is lost in the process.
Can I just throw my ingreadiants into a cupel and hit it with a rosebud rather than needing the kiln or furnace?
ОтветитьPawnshop at best pays 10% below spot price for scrap gold.
ОтветитьYou still smelting ?
Ответить5.49 is not 5.5 xD
ОтветитьPaid alot for 14k, I see 18k necklaces and such for $15-$20 a piece.
ОтветитьPretty cool but still have to use that nitric acid to the .999's fine..
ОтветитьThank you so very much for making this video. I never felt like you were dragging on, you get to the point while still being detailed for someone learning how to do this. You are so appreciated.
ОтветитьGreat as always Jason!!!
ОтветитьWhen you’re “schmelting”😂
ОтветитьHi Jason. What temperature do you cupel gold? Does it matter how big of a button is expected? It is always the same temperature? Thank you
ОтветитьCan you do it with map gas ?
ОтветитьCheck your mask. Magenta filters are dust filters. For metal/chemical vapors, you'll be in the safer side if you use the grey (chemical and bio) mask filters.
ОтветитьSo Let me get this Straight...ALL you did was put Bismuth in with 14kt gold and heated it up and removed all the Base metals in 14kt?😱😱
ОтветитьI like how u explained how not to pour in to a cold or wet cast .. cause it will pop nobody skoolz nobody on how to melt gold .. most just stay quite n say nothing .. ur schooling us on gold melting n gold .. stuff I dint know .. tell us way more tho .. good advice 👍🏼
ОтветитьThank you!!! How do I e-mail you?
ОтветитьWondering why you didn't use a Slag rod
ОтветитьWow thanks that's a super easy way to refine your karat gold 👍
ОтветитьReally cool video, remember next time there is a steel spring in the clasp of the bracelet. It’s easy to take out with a pair of side cutters
ОтветитьCan you pull the gold out of gold filled jewelry with cuppeling
Ответить
