I always hoped they'd do a feature film or something. I always thought Josh Hartnet would make a great stand in for Hawk... kinda looks like Vincent. So sad what happened to Vincent.. heartbreaking

Saw Blue Thunder in the theater. I remember the uproar it caused when the film revealed to intrusive surveillance equipment BT had. It made people feel insecure. Then the series came out. I watched a couple of episodes. They didn't stack up to the movie. I thought they were dumb. Then I saw the pilot for Airwolf and I was totally blown away. It left the Blue Thunder show in the dust.

If they tried to reboot Airwolf today, they would Race and Gender swap everyone... except the bad guy(s) who be Straight White Males.

I remember watching Airwolf I was a teenager then very good show I would like to see a remake in a TV series or a movie one day

U did forget 1 import detail: airwolfs only kink in the armor; when Moffit was aiming to shoot pistol in the air refuel nozzle (as he was shooting a coin outta someone's hand earlier)

MacGyver! Airwolf, Knightrider, A-team, Dukes! What every gen Xer military vet grew up on!!! Parents didn't have to worry bout their kids (that I recall...) no locked doors; no cell phns!

Thursday, Friday and Saturday growing up was Airwolf, KnightRider, A-Team, Dempsey & Makepeace, Hunter, Miami Vice......we'll never see an era like it again.

Season 4 sucked it was a different show

the final season was terrible. i kept watching, hoping that stringfellow hawk would return but i guess he was stuck in that hospital bed for the rest of his life, and jean bruce scott’s character was never explained away what happened to her.

No remakes NEVER capture the original.

one or two points that you did miss out on are the similarities, to the kids cartoons, aka voltron, Thunder birds and the Power Rangers franchises, all of which use machines to save the world, the "morphing" sequence to assemble the good guy, or in Thunderbirds\Airwolf case the launch sequence; the emphasis on the Team controlling this power, and that it is too powerful for one brain to control (Airwolf has the combat and pilot functions separated, even though there is a trigger for the pilot to use); also things like the adult movie the Pacific rim use this same thing for the robot control, two pilots, the power thing, and the fact it is team controlled.

My favorite series. Loved and still love Airwolf. And wanted to fly helicopters. I hope to someday find a Bell 222 and turn it into Airwolf. The hardest part of building her would be the armor.

My family and some of my relatives. come to our house just to watch airwolf , my cousins their fathers come along with them since were the few to have a tv set in our barrio that time.just nice to reminisce. RIP JMV.

Being a kid in the 80's was the best time! TV was legendary then. Always rem ember watching this with my Brother & Sister. I had the toyset of Airwolf & Santinis helicopter. Great times!

There's a photo out there with Airwolf production on one side of Vasquez Rocks and Knight Rider on the other. Vasquez Rocks was Very popular to shoot shows at.
