main gaming and dev machine has 14tb, stream and editing machine has 5tb, server being rebuilt to have 24tb. davinci resolve is annoying to get on deb/ubuntu distros. takes less steps on a distro like fedora. using the MakeResolveDeb does do some of the leg work

I actually only found SavvyNiks channel recently I think it was from a news video about rust in the kernel, I'll probably keep watching for the tutorials though.

Mid-year, I spent $150 for a 4tb gen4. Storage was extremely cheap this year.

While I do not like recall, the whole hard file explorer dependancy thing was exaggerated, and Chis Tuits has released an updated video with a better explanation and there is a way around it.
