When you say, "throw the club out," it feels like I'm flicking the club which is what we don't want. How do you not flick but still throw the club?

Struggled badly with my game this year. I've been on the hunt for the lesson and swing thoughts that would help me progress... and this one is the best so far! Great ideas that you can take to the range. Thank-you, sir!

I'm making good contact and hitting my balls pretty straight but want to build greater consistency. These are awesome tips that have now given me the check-boxes to get to a more effortless, organic swing that will just 'naturally' have my balls go straight. A 3 year old video but still so useful. Thanks Danny!

That flamingo drill is extra hard when an instructor doesn't really go over how the hips, knees, and feet move as you do 1/2 swings. Knowing where to place the ball during the drill is also helpful. 😉😉😉🇯🇲

Danny is awesome! Thank you for this drill. I was suffering from my core moving back and falling. You and Dave Finks are my favorite online instructors.

Thanks Danny! Once again you simplify things and make it easy to understand not just for me but I am sure everyone. Please keep em coming. You sir are an excellent instructor and I would give anything to be able to meet you. Thank you Danny for taking the time to put these out there for us all. My scores have improved and continue to do so each time I watch another video from you. A huge thanks from Dayton, OH 👍🏻

Danny, I watched this video before my round today and I was amazed at how well it enable me to make solid contact with all my clubs, especially my irons which I hit “fat” far too often. I really concentrated on keeping the three dots aligned. I did not chunk a shot the entire round and my contact was crisp! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

Great lesson Danny, thank you! I tend to hit off of my back foot and I skull a lot of my iron shots. I’m going to try and keep my body more centred over the ball throughout the swing. I really appreciate all of your lessons…..Don

Most of this I like and agree with. But THROWING the club through a swing, leads to casting, which isn't good. swing and follow through on an arc is okay, but not throwing/casting the club.continue with your good work to improve our golf game.thanks.

Watching hundreds of videos and you're the first to mention this idea of not trying to throw the club strait through the ball like your student mentioned (I've been doing this big time) and that it's more of a natural rotational arc coming out and around at the ball. Why has no one mentioned this?? Especially for baseball players trying to tame the wrist flick- this is so key and basic but something you'd never think about and affects the swing so much and changing this allows the shoulders to rotate naturally and dictate how the arms follow. I really just need to stick with your videos/ one internet swing coach for a while 😂

Struggling with that ‘throw the club’ notion. Good players still have as much as a 90 degree angle between shaft and arms at shaft parallel to the ground. If I throw the club I just dump all those angles really early.

Just gained a subscriber. I played a very good game at about 15 years old but never had any lessons etc. Just seemed to pick it up without trying. Im now 30 and after over a 10 year gap i was sstruggling with contact so badly. Im gonna try this drill tomorrow thankyou so much ! I also game mizuno blades mp32 which isnt helping but im not shelling out on irons as i have just paid my years memebership at highcliffe castle.

I was at the range yesterday focused so much on my hips and accelerating down that I lost focus on my club and connection. I CHUNKED 50 STRAIGHT BALLS. this is what I need!

I can understand the alignment in the middle of the body with a short iron, but what about a 3 iron? I hit most fat shots with longer irons. What I try to do is keep my head in the same position throughout the swing. Help!

Danny, again brilliant. May I suggest that we can have forward shaft lean, excellent angles yet still move our apex (“bottom”) behind the ball? Many of your followers may appreciate this. I offer this simply because many excellent instructors (in my humble opinion) demonstrate errors that some of us do not demonstrate. Keep up the AWESOME teaching - a forever fan!
