Awesome! I have the classics om my aristides and it roars!!
ОтветитьIn my opinion they both sound good. The classic set seems to have a very distinct bite that is noticeable especially in the clean demo. I feel like they are both great and you could go with whichever one you prefer.
ОтветитьBest pickup review anywhere by anyone. No nonsense, no backing tracks, same riffs side by side with each pickup in each setting with the pickup/voice clearly stated during each riff. All levels of clean and distortion. Thanks for not making a confusing mess like most of the other reviewers out there.
ОтветитьNice I have them both but the guitar that has the classic pickups is still at the luthier. Been 7 days and still tellin me oh maybe tomorrow, maybe tomorrow.. and it was a whole kit! Can’t wait to get her home, then I will have my modern and my classic fluence’s
ОтветитьWhat is the name of the 3rd and 4th songs you play or the tab for them
ОтветитьModerns for the win. Cleans on voice two, distortion voice one. Classics don't come close IMO.
ОтветитьIn the distorted sections I could hear the moderns had a tighter bottom end, the classics have a more chimey top end. I feel after they were EQ'd in the studio they'd be really hard to tell apart, maybe impossible in a mix.
ОтветитьHope you can swing an Alnico vs Ceramic Modern, and an Alnico vs Classic video sometime.
Your comparison videos are the best

ОтветитьNot sure I like the weird sound of the moderns 1st voicing but the classics sound heavy enough for metal that I kinda wanna try them.
ОтветитьAre these classics the same as the open core classics?
ОтветитьClassics sound way too harsh for clean tones. They sound good with high gain but that's a one trick pony. I guess if all you play is high gain metal the classics would probably be great. I would choose the versatility of the moderns but that's just my taste.
ОтветитьThe moderns it is for me I think. The classics only sounded decent in the high gain distorted parts and had a warmer sound for the power chords but still meaty enough. The moderns were just a bit overpowering and I felt the signal was too hot but that could be adjusted. It was still clear enough but had some harshness on the highs. I am planning on upgrading my ESP LTD from the EMGs it came with that are not the greatest for that guitar and how I am playing it. I changed one of my pickups to an EMG 608 or whatever they call it but its as bit warmer and nice for the cleans as well as high gain. I am playing with the bridge pickyup but its in the middle section not right by the neck. I never likes pickups too close to the neck. Love to see what he moderns will be like on my LTD. They sell it with the moderns in it now I believe.
ОтветитьThe Classics sound perfect imo. The Moderns sound kinda boxy and honky in Voicing 1 where as the Classics sound very balanced and gainy enough for metal stuff.
ОтветитьI have had moderns for a while and there's no real nice way to say it. Voice 1 sucks. Voice 2 bridge only.
ОтветитьI plan on maybe getting both. The classics for my Les Paul and the moderns for my Harley Benton.
ОтветитьModern Voice 2 is almost the same as Classic Voice 1 😀
But Modern sounds more linear in this case, which I dig.
Can you do willie adler fishmans vs the modern?
Ответитьна часттттотке видден обман.. видео фуфло и навнищеЁ
ОтветитьThey sounds very similar after being recorded, but the feel is way different. The Classics are still active, but they feel more dynamic. The Moderns don't feel very dynamic at all. I'm use to passives so the Moderns feel super sterile to me. I think that coming from EMG, Moderns might be the right cup of tea, but one could also go class. From passives, I think the classics are the way to go, or Merrow, unless one is definitely going for the active feel.
