Compared to the original, did you find the increased resolution made a difference in the detail of your photos?

It looks a bit like the Leica D-Lux (Typ 109) but it's not a Leica after all.

Lens so much BETTER than the one Canon put in the APS-C sensor G1X III. This Panasonic is much better. MOre zoom with the Sony RX100 VI but I would much rather have this faster lens and larger sensor any day.

Having owned the original Panasonic LX 100 for a few years I know this is one truly awesome and amazing camera. I've taken shots with the previous model that defeated my bigger DSLR cameras. Mine, unfortunately, fell off a shelf at Christmas ... or rather the Christmas tree knocked it onto the hard wooden floor and it broke! If I had the cash I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this newer model as I know just how fantastic it is.

Latest Samsung and Apple mobile phone take very good photo. Give me a good reason to buy this. What make this camera better than the latest iPhone X ?

why wasn't there any review of the video features?

US$998 for a compact camera now, wow. Do you think it's worth it? I am not so sure.

The audio is so bad, that it makes it unwatchable.

It could have been a killer camera but no articulating or flip screen makes it flop for me...

Disappointing update to be honest. And by the way it's a 24-70mm or a 12-35mm lens. You didn't mention the focal length for macro.
