Even tho I enjoy playing as Sombra, I don’t mind the rework. She was a nightmare to play against which is why I used her so often to bully lobbies. Gonna see how she plays.

Sombra: Invisibility duration gets nerfed
Fireworks erupt, wine glasses clink, children jump and shout for joy, adults hug each other, the economy suddenly flourishes, hope is retuned to the eyes of many.

Sombra nerf?! Oh my oh golly! Rejoiiiiiiiccceeee rejoice my brethren!!!! The Juno nerf was definitely too much and I absolutely blame players for this. They released her perfect. Fun and required skill. Then everyone kept saying she needed buffs. So they buffed her. Everyone still kept saying she was bad. They buffed her more. And then we ended up with a monster support who wasn’t even fun to play anymore. Then they were asking for nerfs and here we are. About Ram I wish people would aro being so dramatic. Y’all act like Rein is meta or something and is now gonna run loose. You will do more damage to the shield and also they just gave sojourn and hanzo a massive buff. The rein shields change will not make that big a difference. Calm down.

Super glad about the Sombra changes, now people can't try to get free wins anymore or switch when they are losing to try to cheese a win. Brig getting a nerf sucks but Nap getting less recoil is nice

That's a massive range nerf for Juno. I'm glad they didn't touch her mobility, but it's gonna feel bad having to get so close just to heal and damage when she's 225 HP. Will need to see how it feels but I know Juno needed a nerf.

The rammatra change further exemplifies how ridiculous people who complained about double shield in ow1 coming back when they make 6v6 again.
Double shield was never a problem. The problem was a lack of interactive abilities that answer to the shield.

And this rammatra change is just proof that developers can easily add INCENTIVE for heroes to break down shields fast.
Symmetra is one, also sojourn.
They can easily add symettras ammo benefit against shields to the dps passive and viola! Double shield meta fixed.

Can they just acknowledge that a hero based entirely around invisibility and CC is never going to work and give her a new identity? Flip floping on how her stealth works or how long her hack cc's every few seasons doesn't actually fix anything, she just needs a whole new identity at this point

The developers absolutely gutted sombras entire identity holy fuck.
To put it into perspective, it’s comparative to them changing Ball to the point that he’s just a small hamster running on 4 legs… literally. What they did to sombra is exactly that.

As a Ramattra main I am SO GLAD to announce I uninstalled OW2 yesterday in a fit of rage, now that I am seeing these dogshit news I am most likely never coming back to play this dogshit game, farewell Blizzard

its so frustrating learning to play a new version of sombra so often...other heroes mostly get number tweaks but i feel like this might completely change sombras playstyle

This is so a huge nerf to Sombra, 5 seconds is nothing, and no that she is no longer invisibly while.hacking means ahe wont be able to hack Torbj's turret.
People who are a saying that ahe can 300+ damage forget that her damage sperad is huge, her damage falls off really fast, and she practically needs to be on top off the enemy in order to do that much damage, and with 5 secs she is going to have a hard to time getting close enough.

Dont forget that her speed boost is also tied to her stealth meaning ahe is going to feel very slow.

This change pretty much reverses her to OW1 when she first came out, a time in which she qas so weak noone was playing her.

Wild to me that even people who hate sombra agree she’s fucking useless💀but man Ram’s change bro didn’t even do anything

If they give hanzo 250 hp then sombra should also get 250 hp with this rework

The translocator nerf is gonna sink Sombra pretty hard. Perma-stealth was always a dumb idea, but forcing translocator to be an engagement tool is going to sink her since its guaranteed death if you do anything other than clean up engagements. If they hadn't given her Opportunist back I'd say it was a death sentence for the character.

Juno nerf was so unnecessary

Seeing all the angry Sombra mains gives me life lol. So sad they cant use the character that hides their trash gamesense and positioning behind invisibility.

Ngl, I hate this sombra change. Sounds like she's gonna be totally useless, Sombra is absolutely trash outside of stealth, you can't just totally gut her stealth and then not give her anything to compensate

Juno nerf, yes, but why double nerf the healing and not the ult. The ult is the reason she is so strong, not the healing. This will just make her feel worse and still a must pick because the ult combos too well with blade

They needed to rectify the only successful rework in OW2, by reworking Sombra again. Anything less then a 100 failure rate in hero reworks is not acceptable!!!

No one is going to play sombra, you can pick anyone with some sort of mobility to catch her now

Old Oportunist passive will make sombra waaay more interesting to play. Use stealth more like moira/reaper escape, sounds way better

Overwatch trying so hard to balance the game into call of duty. Everyone has a normal gun, no movement, and you're not allowed to be unique at all.

I can't wait for people to continue complaining about Sombra due their inability to turn around and shoot.

Juno casually getting sledgehammer nerfed for the second time lmao.

Ok, so Ram now does 2.5x65 dmg to shields. Rein has 1500 shield health (reduced by 100 from last patch), which means Ram needs 10 pummels to break it (the shield health nerf didn't actually change that). Nemesisform lasts 8 seconds which allows for 12 pummels (you're never gonna stand and transform right in front of Rein, so that's the very best case.
Congratulations, you spent your entire frontline presence on punching a shield and now you have to run away in omnic form.
Rein had a bunch of outplays against Ram with smart charges and tempo shifts. Now Ram can do jack all against the by far most common tank in any normal rank.

Won’t this ramattra change really hurt his ult charge rate? Attacking shields give way less ult charge compared to hitting multiple enemies at once through shields

Juno’s ult needed to be nerfed and the missile damage could’ve been taken down tiny bit if anything. Range nerfs just sound like it’s going to have boring repercussions. Time will tell

I knew it, and now Blizzard's admitted it: the matchmaker has never accounted for groups when calculating win probability. And now that it does, it will only do so for high ranks. So in all the other ranks, you're still going to get matched against groups, and they're going to continue having unfair advantages, and so groups will continue to ruin the experience for solo players. Well, I guess I won't be reinstalling.

They force sombra to become tracer 0.1 lmfao

The whole tank matchmaking change just further reinforces how the game is centralized around tanks and how critical it is to counter the opponent tank by swapping. To be a good tank player, you literally have to learn how to play all tanks while the support and dps players really don’t have to

i love Ram but as a Brig main, being able to survive the punches with her shield up helps out a lot to get away and reposition
