The Devs this this travesty for one, and one reason only: to sell more Widow skins. Your mission is to focus down every
Widow you come across, and make her game miserable! Don't care if you die, don't care if you lose, your single job from
now on till the end of this season is to make every Widow suffer!

Has anyone else just given up on this game

There’s literally no benefit to playing Sombra then. Tracer will do every single thing better and has way better mobility and can escape.

Reworking Sombra is wild when a good Tracer is far more of a challenge than a good Sombra.

Honestly the devs do not know how to balance Sombra at all but her sole purpose is to be a flanker and get picks off the enemy team.

Now I'm not gonna say this rework is the best thing but, sombra is even more annoying than she is now because she can basically play frontline and she can get picks off by being able to see injured opponents through walls so she gets more of an assassin play style and can confirm kills rather than an enemy hiding when their dying

not to mention cube and hack feels stronger then it ever was meaning sombra can melt down people with ease so she melt down big targets like bastion or even dva, especially bastion because his healthpool can't manage the virus doing tick damage and the fact her smg does extra damage to the hacked target.

The way i see it devs only really saw that people hated how she can just flank constantly and it gets annoying but now they have to worry about getting melted in three seconds if they get cubed and hacked simultaneously.
The rework trades off more stealth for more damage output, whether it's good or bad i still question.

750 games sounds like a lot but honestly if you’re on the game chronically that’s an easy like a month or a month and a half.

We got another rework for sombra before GTA 6 wildddd.

People say sombra is dead and less annoying? She is but it's actually worse for you! Once the rework settles and they enter number adjustment phase.... imagine dualing a invisible sombra for 5 plus seconds. Unbreakable invisibility? That's a redflag. Even if its weak. With the wrong number change and boom.

Sombra needed a nerf, not die like they have done now, as someone that enjoys playing Ana, Brig and Kiri, I never had that much of an issue with sombra unless I got the worst cordinated team ( which happens a lot solo que ) but that's really not a sombra problem imo, if you got half a decent team that can peel her off you, you're fine, perhaps I havent encountered to highly skilled sombra yet but this is my experience as a silver/gold player. Lets not talk about the heros she counters and how that will affect their pickrates, ig they will get a nerf next season cuz their pickrate/winrate will be higher.

Ram is just useless now, what is the point of his kit? no one and their mom asked for Ram to get nerfed, I have never seen someone complain unless they dont know how to play the game, even as a rein or sigma, you have plenty of options to outplay Ram.

Why buff Mauga when a lot of players dont like playing him or against him? idk not the way to go

Juno needed a slight nerf, this feels a little too much, and then micro nerf brig?!?! while she finally gets some playtime because of Juno? so essentially if Juno doesnt get played brig is even in a worse spot?

This all just feels like they dont understand why certain heros or combos work well and just look at the "winrate or pickrate high, must nerf" without looking at why it works, and potentially buffing something else to be on equal grounds. I dont think I will be playing much or at all this season, yes I am just one player and no one cares but I genuinly liked the game as I've played since season 4

What's crazy is the ramatra nerf..... Please tell me what is the point of picking him now? He was unique because he can damage through sheilds. Ill never pick him again

People complain about sombras annoyance, but they probably never met a good dooms, balls, widows in their matches that's a real hell annoying

They butchered Sombra. Just make her a support already!

Pretty tired of blizzards go ti of less function,more damage to reworks. This sombra rework sucks. They couldve just greatly adjusted her weapon spread and deleted virus. Just delete sombra and widow.

They really want the supports to start dpsing

Camper Sombras incoming. Can't go invis to engage they'll spend a full minute crouching into an ambush spot, then hack and kill one squishy before an invis escape.

Bring back old translocator sombra

I need to ask tho are the devs on crack or just inept at their job? “Tranlocator has a 7sec cooldown and invis last 5sec to give Sombra a brief period of vulnerability” BROTHER IN CHRIST SHE HAS NO TRANALOCATOR WHIST INVISIBLE THATS HER VULNERABILITY!

I'm not joking when I tell you that in the last 4 weeks, I have played 218 games in a row where one team had a Sombra (typically the enemy team, just my luck). I don't think she was super OP, she was just incredibly easy. I've been saying that Sombra is basically Genji without any of the risk and 4x the reward with the way she is now, at least in my ranks (High Gold - Low Diamond). As a Support Main, she's not difficult to play against, but it is annoying having to constantly play around her. If I want to play Ana for a game, but then they pick Sombra and I'm forced to play Brig (as an example), that's fine. When I'm forced to do it for over 200 games in a row, it gets incredibly irritating.

Horrible changes for Sombra. They still don't get it.

i love Ram but as a Brig main, being able to survive the punches with her shield up helps out a lot to get away and reposition

The whole tank matchmaking change just further reinforces how the game is centralized around tanks and how critical it is to counter the opponent tank by swapping. To be a good tank player, you literally have to learn how to play all tanks while the support and dps players really don’t have to

They force sombra to become tracer 0.1 lmfao

I knew it, and now Blizzard's admitted it: the matchmaker has never accounted for groups when calculating win probability. And now that it does, it will only do so for high ranks. So in all the other ranks, you're still going to get matched against groups, and they're going to continue having unfair advantages, and so groups will continue to ruin the experience for solo players. Well, I guess I won't be reinstalling.

Juno’s ult needed to be nerfed and the missile damage could’ve been taken down tiny bit if anything. Range nerfs just sound like it’s going to have boring repercussions. Time will tell

Won’t this ramattra change really hurt his ult charge rate? Attacking shields give way less ult charge compared to hitting multiple enemies at once through shields

Ok, so Ram now does 2.5x65 dmg to shields. Rein has 1500 shield health (reduced by 100 from last patch), which means Ram needs 10 pummels to break it (the shield health nerf didn't actually change that). Nemesisform lasts 8 seconds which allows for 12 pummels (you're never gonna stand and transform right in front of Rein, so that's the very best case.
Congratulations, you spent your entire frontline presence on punching a shield and now you have to run away in omnic form.
Rein had a bunch of outplays against Ram with smart charges and tempo shifts. Now Ram can do jack all against the by far most common tank in any normal rank.

Overwatch trying so hard to balance the game into call of duty. Everyone has a normal gun, no movement, and you're not allowed to be unique at all.

Old Oportunist passive will make sombra waaay more interesting to play. Use stealth more like moira/reaper escape, sounds way better

No one is going to play sombra, you can pick anyone with some sort of mobility to catch her now

They needed to rectify the only successful rework in OW2, by reworking Sombra again. Anything less then a 100 failure rate in hero reworks is not acceptable!!!

Juno nerf, yes, but why double nerf the healing and not the ult. The ult is the reason she is so strong, not the healing. This will just make her feel worse and still a must pick because the ult combos too well with blade

I'm done. I'm done with OverWatch. Every single patch they mutilate Sombra even more because they are completely clueless and refuse to listen to anybody who actually understands the hero.

The real question is who asked for another Sombra rework??

Ngl, I hate this sombra change. Sounds like she's gonna be totally useless, Sombra is absolutely trash outside of stealth, you can't just totally gut her stealth and then not give her anything to compensate
