this game is the only one i never once used fast travel for when given the option because i loved riding around in the game so much.

I wish i could experience both rdr games for the first time again 😢

Certain parts of this game feel like, revisiting your pleasant aspects of childhood in a dream. The exploring, the food, the canoeing and fishing...the night sky and country air of it. Even some of the bird songs, take me back.

Has to be the best game ever made up until rdr3

I love listening to this while in the hospital recovering from a serious case of lumbago. 😢

The reason why this game is so immersive is that all the sounds are coming from a real source in game. Rustling in the grass will be from some small creature. The howls from coyotes nearby. The train is actually passing in the distance. Hooves from travellers on horseback. Wind in the trees. It's all happening for real in game. I haven't ever played a game like it.

The exploring theme will always be my favorite. I love stopping my horse wherever I am and just looking around.

I was cooking food at night right after I did the balloon mission and Arthur just got tb and was just listening to this music it genuinely gave me chills and almost anxiety cause it felt like Arthur’s looming fate

God this was such a good game

True masterpiece. I loved riding slowly through wilderness for a few day night cycles and setting camp going to hunt bringing it back, cooking and then taking bigger hunt and pelts back to the camp.

If I die... This is the game I want to live in.

Honestly this is one of my favorite ambience videos, see when Rockstar puts their greedy money grubbing attitudes aside they can make masterpieces. But unfortunately they probably never will

After chapter 6 it took me almost a year to play again and finish The epilogue (because I was too hurt to play). This game is hardwired deeply inside my heart.

Chillin in my century and a qrter (almost) old farmhouse that was built in 1905. I’m a walkin tale of what it means to be cowgirl. Alone in this world from a young age, troubled past, momma died in my arms, trama. But I still get up and saddle up. Soul made of leather, I’m tough, I’ve got grit. I’m a living embodiment of what it means to be western, what it means to be cowboy~

Red Dead 1 and 2 have some of the most fantastical and engrossing ambience tracks in all of gaming history!

I can’t believe it’s been five years since this game came out I remember getting it with my older brother and being so excited to play it when I came home god how I miss does days.

The exploring theme hits different i don't know why, whenever I hear it I just get flooded with memories of when i used to explore everywhere and discover little easter eggs or quests

I've been replaying RDR2 again. Parts of it closely resemble where I grew up, and since I can't get the time off to visit, I spend a lot of time camping and wandering around in game, totally ignoring the story. It's silly how attached I feel to Arthur, John, and this whole fictional world of outlaws.
