The price doesn't seem all that high, even when factoring in labor cost. Besides, being able to say you built it, is well worth the time

I went to New Zealand from last November to April and I saw how big the van life can be, especially for travellers. As a Canadian, I would clearly need more isolation but it would probably be worth it since I have access to a whole continent

I built a 6.5 m folding trimaran in PVC epoxy sandwich. Man, did the "little things" add up! I had not budgeted consumables like sandpaper, thinners, nitrile gloves, etc, etc, etc.... I swear it cost me 10% of the construction. Nice build btw. Great job. Cheers from Auckland.
