I’ve been trying to find one of the songs o this soundtrack for more than 10 years. It’s credited to “Stephen” in the credits. Song is “The King is Dead” off the album “Hello, I thought you were dead”. Fierce Records. Anyone here know of this artist and album? Maybe it was never released? I’ve even mailed the Big Up team twice with no response.

I spent some time climbing at Black Mountain in Cali and the problems they’re crushing in this are crazy hard. I fell in love with this vid a long time ago and it’s pure joy to have a look again🙏

Important to remember that his shoes where nowhere near as streamlined as those of today’s climbers. He literally threw on a pair of super stiff kicks and absolutely crushed…..

It’s funny how “effortless?” these guys can make some things look. Well, if not effortless, at least not hurculenean like some of these things really are. I also lock seeing a world where Sharma doesn’t have extra climbing shoes.
