What makes this arguably the best fight in Battlebots history is pacing. It starts off slow and it even looks like Blacksmith has the upper hand at first, but Minotaur just slowly gains more an more momentum throughout and each time you think you’ve seen the hit of the match, there’s an even bigger one that comes along.

Amazing that the ref doesn’t even bother with a ten count either, just immediately calls it, don’t think I’ve seen that anywhere else.

Hammer style attack is the worst choice against the Minotaur which is durable to slams the most.

Blacksmith put up one hell of a fight. Holy shit. Incredible fight. I know this fight went viral, but Blacksmith should be proud of their battles against Minotaur. Favorite match up for sure.

I knew it was over the first time that Blacksmith's hammer hit and did zero damage to Minotaur. As impressive as that flaming hammer looks, it just lacked the power needed to have any real impact.

Minotaur dismantling Blacksmith was savage and terrifying, and when Blacksmith was dealt the final blow, no wonder why Minotaur is my fav robot. It is a beast!

This is like from movie. Blacksmith is beating Minotaur like it's nothing, but Minotaur is getting under its waves, broke its hammer and grilled it into the fire and before that, he was waiting on its right time. Seriously. I wanna see it as a mini movie.

I love that last shot from Minotaur so much, it's almost like a finishing move from some video game, just hooks itself onto Blacksmith's front, sticks on, and just grinds Blacksmith down, lighting it on fire. Absolutely amazing fight.
