1 year after Google UX Design Certificate - Job?

Thanks for the video! I’m currently studying media and communications and I was wondering if my degree would be an advantage in landing a job as a UX researcher? If you don’t mind sharing, what did you major in college?

I have dedicated four years of rigorous study at the university, specializing in informatics and honing my skills in UX and UI design. Despite my strong academic background and passion for this field, I have encountered challenges in securing job opportunities due to the demand for prior working experience.

I will attend this course you suggested, but I have a few questions. I am currently an industrial design student, but I want to progress more in the field of software design and programming. Do you think I have a chance in those fields if I take related courses and improve my skills?

Im currently on course 4 for this certificate and focusing on my portfolio really helps. No one should ever rush, just for a job. The more time you take preparing and learning, the higher chance you have of landing a great job!

I have completed the Google UX certifications (7 courses) and I wish to work as a UX designer.

But I have 6 years SAP programming experience with a year of gap in work.

so is there any possibility to get a job now.

I have also created a project on figma.

Can you please suggest me how many more projects do I need to perform more...?

As i am a good learner i can learn things quickly and just because of it i can easily switch my self into IT from Corporate Training (Dot Net trainer), Since last 6 years i am not doing any full time job because of child care but in am doing part time freelancing in design with the help of my friends. Now i am planing a restart in my career and i want to do it in UX.

Question - is google certificate or your course can help me in it?

I have background as advertising technician, that means i have made banners, flyer's, signs, logos and so on. In last few years i was concentrated on social media, but i think it is a bit oversaturated. So i think UX UI design can be interesting to learn, i would like to get a chance to work in a team to learn about it.

Im currently taking the course. I believe im in Week 4. My biggest concern is that i feel like I can learn listening but to really help me understand, i need to shadow someone and watch the flow for things to REALLY connect. Does anyone have advice about this?

Please answer this question whenever you have time "I am in my 2nd course in the UX Google Design Certificate Program, I am curious that in further courses. Will they teach UI Design principles and Figma or Adobe XD? or should I take a different course to learn all of this UI related Stuff?" I don't want to waste my time until this is finished. So If I know before hand that I will not get to learn any UI stuff I will start on that right now and side by side complete google ux course too. Thank you

Should I begin doing interviews and creating user personas for my project in the second week? or should I hold off until the completion of the project? I dont know how you gathered patience and managed finishing the coursera google UX certifricate. It is absolutely mind numbing bloated boring garbage. I guarantee you if that course didnl't have "google" in the title nobody on earth would pay to do it or even just do it. They totally banked on the google name and pushed this insufferable garbage on people.
