That was a nailed on farse,an exsperience jockey in pat who has rode this track untold times ,coming into the home straight every horse was off the bridal and he was on the only mount thst wasnt ,so why look round there was no need he knew whst he was doing, ,in hes interview he apologize s too connection s and the owners not too mention all the punters who faithfully follow him,and i think the brha should anslyise the data interms of how much was put down on that horse and fine pat cosgrave out of hes salary,,,28 day ban ,,,thats no punishment whats he gona do oh lets pack my bags and go a vacation some punishment that is aint it,,desgacefull !!!!

12 months he should have got ,image all the punters who had him an accumulator, or straight bet ,he never apologized to them .

The only reason horse racing exists is because of the people who bet on it. There will have been punters out there who REALLY needed that horse to win. If this jockey was the only one it affected, then a ban would be enough. But he isn’t the only one, you cannot play around as he did. When you could have won by ten lengths, you can take it easy and win by five, not a neck. He should be banned for life, or have to pay the punters from his own pocket.

Jockey was looking to his right and saw three horses. He KNEW the fourth horse was on his left, next to rail.

First time seeing this …should have got double 28 days….an apprentice would have …it’s not that he made a mistake but the fact the horse could have won by atleast 5 lengths and was held back …have followed racing for 30 years and that’s as bad as it gets …and I didn’t back anything in the race but would have been gutted if I had had backed him

He was looking over his right shoulder at 3 horses on his right so had he had forgot that there were 5 horses in that race.

Horse 4 was the only one of them 3 that was not held back at all. That jockey just let that horse just go. The 2 their heads were turned a few times in the race because the jockeys were holding them back

That's why I've gone to many events and never put a plugged-nickel on a horse because the horse has a jockey and they have many tools in their bag to fix a race.

You are a cheat…you never look back while racing only after the race? You should be suspended for a year? Look at his hands pulling the reins…stopping the horse momentum waiting for some other horses to win the race…rigged race?
