I am on a journey with food. I have never cared about how many calories blah blah blah. But i am very 'picky' and have a lactose intolerance, plus many foods that make me feel yuck. ОтветитьOne thing I’ve noticed from people who are able to stay in at a normal weight for their body and not have to count calories is being active, eat very simplistic meals, most of their meals are healthy, less processed foods but mostly whole foods and don’t eat huge portions. I say this as someone who has a family who lives the same way. I’d say I’m the only one who has struggled with food but mostly binge eating and not restrictive eating. I have gained weight do to stress caring for my grandmother with alzheimers and being alone living with her as her care giver. Lost all the weight once I started eating normal and being more active.
Sure you may know which foods have the least calories but you don’t know the exact amount and you certainly aren’t going to follow the recommended portions from the nutritional label.

ОтветитьNot me needing to see this. I am on a fitness journey so I only had a protein smoothie and a pear at the start of breakfast. Then I tried a small chocolate muffin at my break and having been feeling guilty cause it wasn’t apart of my nutrition plan.
ОтветитьI just luv the way we could feast on everything we wish after an intensive workout.Don't get me wrong ,we still need eat in controll but I am not too strict,sometimes workout is a way to be positive and don't want to let my diet bash me😂

i had a pistachio cream cookie yesterday. first time in about 2-3 years eating something from a coffee shop that didnt display the calories, i have no idea how many cals were in it. it was terrifying and i still feel guilty, but it’s certainly progress and felt very freeing <3

That’s so unhealthy, you have to count the calories 😅 like noooo I don’t care and don’t want to know cause then I won’t enjoy my eating time 😢

ОтветитьIt’s all cool but depending on you’re goals what you wanna accomplish a life style like this for most people is not to good some people’s goal is to lose weight I’m not saying be strict but some of these things aren’t good for a cut/calorie deficit social media doesn’t explain I’m happy that’s she enjoys her self but just saying goals everyone has different goals don’t compare you’re self to a. Marathon runner who burns a crap tone of calories
