Stablehand Of The Year - Megan Winter

They're often the unsung heroes of our industry, working from dawn to dusk to ensure our equine athletes perform at their very best. At the recent New Zealand Thoroughbred Horse of the Year Awards, three stablehands from around the country were recognised for their work, and the overall winner was Megan Winter.

Associated with Gr.1 glamour girls Levante and Legarto at Ken and Bev Kelso's, Megan is dedicated and passionate. A part of her award is a remarkable trip for two to The Everest held at Royal Randwick Racecourse in October, a prize that will include flights, two nights’ accommodation and a full hospitality package.
