Every woman must be able to do at least 70 things - 69 and musaka. Old Bulgarian proverb...
ОтветитьYou missed plovdiv …2nd oldest city in europe
ОтветитьWhy are you so surprised about the English? English is like the international language of the world. Everyone knows it, or at least the modern globalist people. I mean, if you're below the age of 60 and don't know English, what are you even doing with your life?
ОтветитьOoohh bro, seeing they had Burgasko as a local beer option hurt :( It is one of the ~mid ones
ОтветитьWe need dollars 😂😂😂
ОтветитьLove Bulgaria living here for 3months Sofia is the best😊
ОтветитьVery beautiful country and capitol history Roman's byzantines
ОтветитьLove the kids
ОтветитьGreat Bulgaria!!!
Ответитьyou need to add our yogurt to musaka to make it next level
Ответитьfantastic video, what camera do you guys use?
ОтветитьI truthfully find it surprising that foreign visitors find Bulgaria surprisingly interesting place to visit. There is so much history gathered in such a small area so it should not be difficult to believe it.There is so much versitality. Bulgaria is one of the oldest countries known so no big surprise here. Cheers and thanks for promoting Bulgaria even more :) P.S. next time try banitza with cheese, it rocks 🤘
ОтветитьI mean - it's been a while since you posted this but I guess I can still comment . I was puzzled a bit by the banitza you got. It wasn't the classic version. I'm pretty sure it had a filling of bulgur - which is parboiled cracked wheat - and some spices probably. The classic version is with cheese and it does resemble Börek with cheese but it's lighter and (most times, as far as I know) - less greasy.
That National Palace of Culture - at least as far as I know - is rarely open (I'm not from Sofia but I've been there for years around my university time) - any time we'd go it'll be closed. The square around is beautiful and sometimes there's painting/photo exhibitions on a bridge that's nearby there.
Musaka is minced meat with potatoes, & egg on top. Also - I've been seeing these comments around of people eating it with yoghurt. I've never had it that way. In my end of the country (or at least in my family) we'd have it with yellow cheese (kashkaval) added to the egg on top. A vegetarian version can be made if you just skip the minced meat, use the same spices & preparation method & use veggies to mix in. Another version is with the meat but something to replace the potatoes.
I've gone on a binge of videos of people tasting our foods & I'm pretty sure I just saw another couple's video where they got through the same place you got the musaka from & got caught by rain in the video >.<
❤🇧🇬

ОтветитьGreetings from Bulgaria brother❤️
ОтветитьI liked your chanel and you guys but get little disappined u never visited Plovdiv😢. Spend little time in Bulgaria. The bulgarian city like open museum under the sky😊. Also European capital of colture in 2019 . AND only 1.30h. far from Sofia. I loved your faces eating Bulgarian food.
ОтветитьA lady once gave me some rose oil in a handmade hand painted outer wooden bottle, the rose oil was packaged in a small glass case and wrapped the with and orange, black, white hand wove square of material. I am ever grateful to this lady.
ОтветитьBalkans + Orthodox - unpredictable stuff for us from the north.
ОтветитьJust a tip: you have to put yogurt on the musaka. Nobody eats it without yogurt.
ОтветитьThey dont like blacks
ОтветитьBulgaria is the land of the Gypsy.
ОтветитьOlá! Sou brasileira e morei por mais de dois anos em Sófia. Amo a cidade e foi uma surpresa muito agradável assistir ao seu vídeo e ouvir sua narrativa.
ОтветитьI am from Bulgaria and the country is pretty beautiful but our like economy and army is trash
ОтветитьThe global world is irritating.
Everyone makes videos about your country without him asking you. What times are these?!
Love that you guys liked it in Sofia and you liked the cuisine! You ate at the most random places ever but I guess that makes your experience ever more authentic XD. If you want to have a more proper traditional restaurant experience, try MOMA, Hadjidragana or Vodenitzata (the last one is located in the nearby mountain). Once advise though - the proper banitza to have is with cheese, ideally and paired with Ayran or Boza drink. Once you've tried the original, you can start experimenting with spinach, bulgur and what not. :D
ОтветитьLove from the USA to Bulgaria 🇺🇸🫶🏻🇧🇬
ОтветитьHow the fuck did I didn't see you... Аз живея в България и бях там XD!
ОтветитьU should go to the crazy flea market Bitaka on Saturday ……… be careful it’s a lot of thefts.
ОтветитьObama what’s the feedback about pickpocketing 😂??
ОтветитьAt vitosha boulevard I lived when I was a child. Reminds of so many memories . Thank u making this awesome videos about my country
ОтветитьAs a half Bulgarian half Cypriot I'm verry happy about the nice comments about the tour you had in Bulgaria , you guys actually managed to visit one of the best possible areas for tourism in Sofia. I would like to recommend you guys to visit Cyprus as well and visit the old town of Cyprus in its Capital Nicosia so you can see its story and also taste my favorite dishes (Souvla , Souvlakia and Sheftalia , Kleftiko , Greek Musaka , Tzatziki , Ntolmadakia also known as Koupepia , Kioftedes ) and alot more. Looking forward for your experience.
ОтветитьOk I had written another comment but deleted it. Bulgaria and Albania are too different. Albania has a lot of neo-Osmanism due to religion, while Bulgaria is Christian and looks more like an Eastern Bloc country, so they are very different.
ОтветитьAs a Bulgarian born, raised and living in Sofia I can let you know that no true Sofian likes Vitoshka Street. 15 years ago it was just a regular street. Then it got turned into this travesty. Now no Sofian by birth would go and eat/ drink there. It's a tourist trap.
