Just realised why some of my paintings can look flat. Watching you, I now know that sometimes I use the same flat washes by not varying the brush strokes as often as I should. Your picture shows flat and ‘dry brushstrokes’. I feel like this is what they call ‘A Light Bulb Moment’ 😃. 💡💡💡 So thank you Andrew for waking me up. It is all too easy to sink into monotonous painting.
ОтветитьHi Andrew! I am very pleased with the way you describe the process:) You are such an inspiration! Thank you for sharing the excellent tips.
ОтветитьOne of your previous tutorial you told that ...we must paint with a stroke at point to the others......but now mostly I look the style you put your brush at a paper is the opposite way....I mean you press with a dot without a nice stroke......we are confuse on that....
ОтветитьWonderful! Very good advice!
ОтветитьOMG! I finally found my mentor!

ОтветитьYour colors, your paint strokes have so much life to them. . Thank you so much for sharing your experience and talent with us.

ОтветитьThank you for sharing, I'm new to watercolours so found it very helpful. I was just wondering what brush you used, I loved the confidence you have with it and not changing to different brushes
ОтветитьThank you Andrew for your clear explanations and demonstrations. I've just found your channel and subscribed. I'll look up your books too.
ОтветитьLovely painting. Please consider using a fresh clean towel! It’s a small thing but the towel you are using is loaded with paint and is very distracting! I’m going to try a watercolour this afternoon . Thanks for the inspiration

What degree of moisture is the paper?
I have a book of Turner water colours, lots of 'wobble'.

ОтветитьOlá meu amigo lindo vídeo linda pintura lindo artesanato ❤😂🎉
ОтветитьHi Andrew. Thanks for sharing another great video. I enjoyed this one very much. What I like about the pure watercolour approach is that I can start almost anywhere and do the sky later. By the way, I’m almost done reading your new book on how to paint fresh loose watercolours. I will comment more later, but will say the book is an excellent read! It’s packed with useful information and is beautifully illustrated. I plan to take it with me on vacation next week and hope to complete several new paintings.
ОтветитьI “liked” you video. Is there a ❤button?
ОтветитьThanks Andrew for your huge knowledge about watercolour ❤
