Ruth Owens - Be Out Loud

We made a cheeky little video for Be Out Loud, really hope you enjoy!

I wrote Be Out Loud after being inspired by an interview with the amazing Jameela Jamil. She called out the media for representing toxic ideals of beauty, and posed the notion that physical disease in some cases might be rooted in the dis-ease of the mind. That suggestion really stuck with me, and gave me the first workings of the song.

I hope we can all find a moment soon to step back, put our phones down and appreciate the natural beauty of each other and our world, it's pretty great.
