Hi. I tried those settings for my gp10, but still It has poor quality at night. I would say my phone do it better... Would you recommend some settings for deep night car driving in absolute darkness or it's just a go pro and it's impossible to improve?

Aloha~ i am still trying to figure out what would be best setting for my gp9 and gp10 low light night shootings like night time parades or night/early morning drive video scenes ...so far i have tested/ tried many different settings but i guess low light/night scenes are not for gopros.the outcome is alwsy Too Dark or Too Noisy if its bright...i still do not know what is best setting yet?... i have decided not to spend anymore money with gopros<no hope> i am searching other device to replace my GPS 9 and 10. sad

Danny Black, I tried your settings and I'm thinking the settings might be ok if I was shooting from a fixed position. Reason being I changed my setting to yours and went on a 19 mile bike ride at midnight. The video was ok until I rode through a downtown section. By not using HyperSmooth the video was blurred. I'm going to try 4K 30fps using HyperSmooth.

We have the Go Pros 7, 8, 9 and Max 360 and we ride motorcycles, but our videos never look as good as we've seen others be. We know they can look so much better, but don't know what settings are best for each camera or each riding situation, such as day or night rides, street, track or rough terrain. Can you help me or guide me to where I can learn this? 🙏

When someone tells me GoPro’s are horrible in low light, I’m gonna show them this video. Like, my dude, it’s so crisp. I hate when people say you can’t get good footage in the dark with these. You absolutely can, and your video is evidence of that.

Honestly the go pro 11 need to focus on only 2 things. Make it a little bit bigger just a little. To add some kind of heat sink. Battery size everything else can pretty much stay the same. And finally add a larger sensor and lense for low light. That's all that's needed for the 11.
