I'm still trying to get this shit

How is the wire drawing process actually started? You obviously need to get the wire through the die, but how is this done?

Matter of fact what causes seams on the wire ? I do

I hate when wire drawers leave nasty seams on it . What causes that ????????

how does it decrease ductility ?

What exactly is going on in those white boxes that the wire is passing through before being drawn down each time? The diagram of the white boxes makes it look like each box is filled with some sort of granular material. What is their purpose?
