As it stands regardless of Julen new style of play,and so far I like him and his style with what he has and what we saw last season we will finish 12th and no higher as the squad stands.

The problem isn’t the strikers, it’s the inability to get the ball to them in the box.

For years we all begged the club just to spend on players, now everyone is an account or financial advisor. We dont just want a team to be proud of and someone who gives there all. they must be between 18 to 26 a world class prospect with a good attitude and usain bolt speed , must sell them at 28 or they start declining in value apperantly but, if the club sold bowen because he has maxed out his potential and 28 soon, their would be up roar , however imagine 100+mil for bowen and us having toney, tomori, soule.

Duran over Toney for me. At least we can move him on, even if it’s at a loss. For Toney to work for us realistically we’ll need more than one 20 (Yeah I know the 20 goal striker is a myth) goal season from him because this will be his last major move. Or Brentford have to be more realistic about his price tag.

Toney is not worth top dollar but….. I just can’t see why he would want to come to us

I would go Duran over Toney.
Price, wages and all round playing style are all better than Toney.
That's not to say Toney is a bad player, he's great, his PL recoved shows that.
He just isn't as mobile as and young as Duran.
Better financial business to go for Duran as well as better fit for the attacking players we have around him.

No way on planet earth Duran is worth that much. He is a notorious wild boy with slow reflex's. In an ordinary world he would be worth half that unless there is something I should know. Is he really hungry like a wolf to come here and score goals? I would prefer Toney with a view to a Killman type of fee. Save a prayer for keeping Kudus too 🤓
