i'm from malaysia i just wanna say i really love brisket but sadly can't taste any we don't have them here :( .i really crave brisket for such a long time and got an idea to make one myselft but the equipment i need to make one is preety expensive for me as a student.i really like watching people cook brisket with such passionate and endded up juicy like yours. love ur video dude i'm rooting for u

Great video. I have had my BGE (Big Green Egg) for many years, but have not YET used it as a smoker. You have inspired me to do so. Can/Do you recommend a particular digital meat thermometer? Your thermometer seems to be immediately responsive.

I never tried to smoke brisket before and 2023 Thanksgiving is going to be the first time I try to do it and I'm nervous ah lol. I I've taken some notes from this video and a couple others and can't wait to give it a shot..

When holding for up to 24 hours. Put in oven 160 degrees? Is that wrapped with foil?

i saw this video last week and bought an offset smoker last weekend and made a brisket was satisfied i reach 195 internal temp at about 10hrs and rested it for 2hrs. the real hard part is controlling the heat it was always dropping even though i put a lot of briquettes. lol. would try again this weekend

I have a rectangular shaped bbq smoker. How would I go about getting up the snake? Would it be three sides of the rectangle with a gap in one of the narrow sides? Thanks.

Doing this for the first time in about a week. When I'm researching my way towards grill mastery, naturally I view several vids and read several articles/blogs... I'm gonna stop right here. I’m currently using this method but trying wet wood chips instead of the little blocks. The instructions you gave are great though but i wish you could walk me they personally because yours look great! I do wonder how i start up coals if i only have one pit.
