The Division 2 DPS Build You NEED for the NEW Incursion "Paradise Lost" This Build Just SHREDS!

What was the healer build?

In case nobody has noticed, Incursion is killing Division 2. Since the launch of Incursion, the number of active players in Division 2 has decreased considerably. Matchmaking for anything has become difficult, at least on PC. The reason for this is pretty simple. Playing Incursion is incredibly frustrating. It isn't the game itself that makes it frustrating, but the players.

The Division 2 has always been based on the idea of team play, but except for the Raids and now the Incursion, there is absolutely no need for players to play as a cohesive unit. Four randoms, with good builds and basic skills can easily clear legendary missions without ever paying attention to or coordinating with their teammates. This has resulted in most players never really understanding how to play as part of an effective team. Now, those 4 randoms are attempting incursion and completely failing because they either refuse or are unable to adapt their play to a team style.

The raids were always seen as being somehow separate from the regular game so many players (especially lower SDH level players) ignored them and didn't allow it to impact their daily play. However, the Incursion is more inclusive and so everyone tried to jump in. And when they realized how frustrating it was to play the incursion they just logged out.

Those players that continue to play Division 2 are either the better team players or those that have never tried or don't care about the Incursion.

A very unfortunate turn of events all because the devs tried to encourage tighter team play.

Hey why not go with a higher damage striker build by using striker chest, knees, gloves and holster. A sokolov backpack with versatile and coyote mask?

Use sig mpx with flatline or sledgehammer on it. Or Ouroboros. Should have enough diverse multiplicatives within it to do more damage.

Get the amp damage that overtakes the striker chest and backpack combo? And if team-mates run coyotes you could even have a striker mask and put on fox prayer knees for out of cover damage.

Or run LMG variation strikers since that already comes with armour dmg and out of cover dmg to kill off armour faster than the Assault rifles?

But how to get St Elmos if you didn't play last season? (The only one that I did not play)

Where do you farm PFE mods? I very VERY rarely see them drop

I can't literally take on half the enemy's on one side but can't dps in this incursion because I am the healer and no 1 literally no one in this games has a healer build because no one like to play a support roll in this game.

For having red stats maxed I need to find other pieces with max stats? Like health damage 21% in countdown or other activities?

4 piece striker all red including chest and bkpk. 1 groupo and 1 ceska no less than 53 chc 1 player running cayotes mask. Firewall for shield extra damage. And reviver give. 1 healer with opportunistic on bkpk 4 piece future with Scorpio. And someone with lefty shotgun for perfect sledgehammer. Jobs a good one

Again I return surprised that no click bait nor time wasted. Slowly making you better then most division content creators.

Anyone have a team I join in on I’m a solo player and have been trying for a day now and can’t get past the hunter, it seems like most of the people playing it don’t know what they are doing

I use vigilance on my back pack and once everything is built up I'm doing 1.6 million crit.. 58% chance and 171 crit damage

someone can't build this out of the blue with no materials to max everything out. you got to be able to do it with what they have

i still haven't beat this with over 20 tries

All dps guys should use sweet dream to over tap melee reds/purples

How can I get the st Elmo’s engine I missed it last season?!

In phase 2, u are only the DPS? Or u have one more in the right side to cover all enemy in the right section?....thats cool to see u alone to take care the left side thing LOL....anyway thats a good build u give the advice

I don't mess with alternate builds much because I don't like the grind for several things I suddenly don't have, but... this is very much in my wheelhouse and looks like a fun setup. Thanks for such a great breakdown!

Pc clans are non existant just now. Ran 10 times with randoms and falls to shit even with me on comms telling them what to do. If theres a pc clan recruiting lemme know.

Question, do you feel that umbra would work for this too?

I run 4 piece stryker (chest and backpack inlcuded) and 2 pieces of improvised gear. all 5 slots have PFE modded. so I get 70% PFE withs helps a ton and mitigates a ton of damage while you dish out damage and to get the 10% PFE you go with Survivalist which is what im using. you kit up and you heal the group. If all 3 DPS guys run the same setup, you guys wont have an issue with med kits as you guys can rotate

Does your global difficulty affect the incursion?? somebody said it does

The lefty is a good addition to this build especially when you are running survivalist because those flame bases

you only need one build and one build only, striker. We've been running three striker dps and one healer easy.

i wish i can find a nice active clan on PC to play this game,on psn i have everything but because i just started on pc i need to find people to play with and get everything again,so sad that we don't have cross platform on this game like destiny

too hard for solo que-ing. skill issue? maybe. mostly time issue tho. imma just play Darktide.

why not use fox prayer or contractor gloves instead of the ceska holster or use a picaro holster instead?

I’m on PS and when I matchmake it freezes once I join the group. Then I can’t press X to reload the game. Anyone else on PS run into this?

So, I played healer on our first two clears. For the second one I went with demo specialization and all three PFE mods, and having nearly 50% PFE felt much better on the lovebirds.

I keep toying with the idea of a cavalier healer build for this. As I currently envision it, you use 4 pieces of cav, including the chest. I’d carry the btsu gloves and an alps backpack with either opportunistic or safeguard over from my FI healer setup, use all the PFE mods and also the demo specialization. The logic here is that the buff from the 4 piece cavalier should in effect reduce the power of the sniper turret considerably, and since you really have not much chance to be in cover, you should always be charging it.

I don’t think the lack of healing power is a big issue (you are healing 3 guys who have either full red builds or 1-3 blue cores - that doesn’t take that much repair skill percentage) but the tradeoff here is that you lose the FI damage buff which is just fantastic during the dps phase.

…and getting cavalier with repair on them so you can roll skill tier on them sucks. 😊

Most important tip on last boss for groups having trouble beating them. Make sure you destroy the drone as it is flying from Martinez to Johnson. That way you already are damaging Johnson before you go to the center for the damage phase. We were consistently killing Johnson after 2 damages stages. Hope this helps, those sniper turrets are so OP!!!

I run something similar. 4 pc striker, improvised gloves and kneepads. Protection from elites on all the mods. All reds. Comes to about 70% protection from elites. Damage numbers are similar, maybe mine is a bit down by 100k or so since i only have my st elmo at level 18. Traded off the extra armor from the lack of blue cores for additional protection from elites.

Created same build but my armor is 1.1 instead of 1.2 is it because if your expertise level?and thanks for the build can’t wait to try it

What if we get rid of the holster for a striker holster and put in Contractors Gloves or Fox's Prayer?

Cheater build. We knew most of players are using cheats in the game. For second boss , stage, u need turret to handle. When u saw ppl with no turret, u can sure they are cheating players and idiots

I was doing great in Division 2. Then had my gaming system stolen, along with my computer system stolen. Including all my games, DVD's and entertainment system. Miss playing.
