Believe it or not but a woman actually phoned in to a Radio talk show to say that Fat Bottomed Girls should be dropped from Queen's greatest hits album because it's offensive.

The woman concerned certainly wasn't against Queen as a band, stating that they had some much better songs than FBG.

I can't really argue with the last point.

The woman narrating talks about the excessive guitars in the first 3 songs and in comparison to much of Queen's later material it is but then that was very much the style back then before you had the synthesizers and keyboards.

I agree with most of your comments and selections. This (Seven Seas of Rhye) isn't their heaviest song. That, I feel, is Stone Cold Crazy. Thank you. I have never heard anyone sing that fast. Metallica did a terrific remake. That is my favorite early track. My most loved 80s track is Crazy Little Thing Called Love. IMHO - Bohemian Rhapsody and Another One Bites the Dust are too overplayed. Hammer To Fall should be an honorable mention.

What else could’ve been # 1? Try “The Prophet Song”. That to me is their best song they ever made. “Bohemian Rhapsody” may be their most famous song, but to me it is not their best, not even of that album, it’s “The Prophet Song”. It is so epic with the slow build up to the awesome canon in the middle and ends in a hard rocking fury guitar. For over 8 minutes this song blows you away. Per usual, it is their most underrated song they ever made, but people barely have heard of it. Sad but true.

Another contender would by the ballad “White Queen”. It’s absolutely beautiful, but the best version I ever heard was their live version from Live at the Odeon. It is sonically their most beautiful song ever and in my opinion their best live song ever. It is a shame they stopped playing this song live.

Another one could also be “Innuendo”. Awesome slow driving song with an awesome Spanish guitar solo by guest guitarist Steve Howe followed by Brian May mimicking it with his electric guitar. Just an awesome song all around.

need to retitle your video to 'OUR top 20 Queen songs' because they aren't the top 20 on anyone else's list. Some of those songs belong their while others don't. And I think everyone will agree.

I just want to point out while we're talking about May's guitar playing and our beloved Freddie's vocals and we have brought up sweet Deacon's bass... why is nothing ever said about Roger's amazing and spectacular drum playing??? He is soooo damn good. To say nothing about his pretty looks!!! I just never hear any kudos about ROGERS fantastic drum playing needs to be recognized! He deserves his turn in the spotlight. Plus he can sing!! Team Roger!!! Love all Queen members and Freddie is #1 but I am tired of Roger getting left out!

Roger Deacon was such an underrated bassist. He's always overshadowed by his brother John Deacon of The Who. He is constantly left off of best bassists lists, but his selfish brother is always put on there.
