Which one should i buy? Black edition or box set?

I bought the all-in-one edition because it's funny and it was on amazon for 35 bucks. I already have all 104 single volumes of one piece, but I can't wait to buy the one piece all-in-one when the series ends.

I personally really like the singles, (and by extension the box set) since I can't get enough of Obata's art. I also have the all in one edition and the short stories, but I don't touch the all in one edition at all really. The character profiles in the how to read book included in the boxset are amazing though. I don't think I'll buy the black edition though, pretty expensive for each volume lol

I recently collecting the black edition and the black is better for me!

I was shopping around for some hardcover versions, so i settled on the box set. Got for around 50$, not too shabby.

All in one is a really cheap option. It’s not that heavy and really it’s more for the person who wants to read the whole series. I own all in one btw

is the paper quality between black editions and box set big difference? Because i want to go with the og covers but im afraid the difference will be pretty noticable. Also all in one edition doesnt appeal to me at all. Great review and im happy i discovered this channel. Better late than never i guess!

best comparison but I wish you had reviewed the kindle edition as well. I'm strongly considering getting that one instead of the physical. or maybe kindle + all in one for the collection

How does the spine for the Black Edition hold up?

You can save 5 bucks by buying black edition instead of paying 10 bucks for 2 volumes

This is probably the hardest decision I've ever had to make for manga editions I literally want all of them

i believe for a collector the box is the better choice, because its beautifull to see your shelf full!

It is not only fun to read manga, but also to display , and I noticed individual edition is much cooler to display than black edition . This is only my opinion . The side corner looks much cooler design and colors with different pictures .

i have the black editions. larger format, some coloured pages, 2 in 1, they have the single covers in the back (although in black and white), although the cover can mark up and the pages can discolour too

I got All in One edition because I found it for cheap, around 40 Dollars.

Now we just need a One Piece All-in-One :D

Cant fit my all in one back into the box 😭 even though i was careful reading it, the spine bending fucked it, its never going back in there now 😂

I would've loved getting the box set but due to the prices I was able to get the all in one edition which I don't mind at all. I liked that I could keep reading and don't have to get up to grab another volume.

I just said fuck it and got all the versions of them.. I couldn't decide so that was probably the best option for me. Great review.

Oh man I wish I watched your video before spirning to buy the boxset. I don't think I'll have any regrets with it I'm just wondering if I overpaid ($130 CAD) for the boxset.

It's dark and bigger than the other, I love it

I had 2 black edition, 1 for reading and the other 1 still sealed on my bookshelf. I had the all in one, short shtories, and how to read (vol. 13) too, now im loooking for the box set

I have the first four novels in the Black edition and their really pretty but It happened that my hand went slightly black because of the book

I always come to your channel when i am having trouble to choose what edition of a manga i want if you have it posted. I ended up getting all of the black editions for christmas because i have never watched or read death note and since the box set was out of stock and some of the singles were too i decided to just get all of the black editions and i gotta say that they look really nice. I was a little suprised that the colored pages weren't a glossy finish. I also decided to treat myself a little and i got the short stories aswell so i am all done with collecting death note.

If they made the all-in-one the same page size as the Black Edition, it would be my favorite. As they are, my favorite is Black Edition because I like the bigger book size, lower physical volume count, color pages, and mid-range price. I even like the simplified artwork with character portraits on the outside of each volume. My second choice would probably be all-in-one for portability. My favorite covers are the individual volumes. Picked up Short Stories recently but haven't read it yet. Glad to hear it includes the bonus chapter from the all-in-one. Great video!!
